Been for my 2wpo check today, dressing and been removed and nurse says I can finally shower. I’ve been looking forward to having a proper shower since my BA. Washing just doesn’t feel the same lol. Now I actually can I’m a bit worried about it, can I just shower like I did before or do I need do anything different. Any advice from any one would be great. I was advised to use sanex zero as you can’t use normal body wash on your incisions until 6 weeks. If you use a normal body wash/soap you can only put water on the incisions. Other than that, enjoy it! It’s so nice to finally be able to wash.
Although I was scared the water was going to hurt my boobs haha, coming out to hard or something. But it was fine 🙂 xx
I’ve been able to shower since my 7dpo. My nurse just said to me not to put soap directly on my incisions. Other than that shower as normal. Let you incisions air dry xx
Thanks girls, tbh Ive looked forward to this day ever since my BA but I’m now feeling a little anxious. The hubby going come stand with me to put me at ease a bit xxx
