First Surgeon consultation..?

I’ve got my first surgeon consultation in a couple of days and I’m just wondering what happens? How long am I in there? Do I find out exactly what I would want/need? Is anyone else in room? Etc xxx

You’re not in there that long really I think I was only in there for around 45 mins from walking into mya to walking out 🙂
Your surgeon will go through the risks etc..and then measure your chest, ask you what look are you wanting to achieve and then let you know what they think is best and then you’ll go into another room with a lady to try on your surgeons recommended sizes and go from there! I loved my surgeon consultation and finally knowing what I could have. I already booked my surgery with mr traynor before I even met him and I’m still 100% happy with my choice! At first I was only offered 325cc high profile unders – maximum! But when I tried them on they didn’t seem as big as I wanted so I made a second consultation to see traynor again to ask for bigger so I asked for 350/375cc which he just told me he may not be able to fit the larger implants in but he will try and also told me the risks involved again with larger implants – he said if I didn’t go back and ask him for bigger and waited till surgery day my op would have been cancelled!! So if you have a feeling the implants offered are not what you want don’t hesitate to ask at the time or ask for a second consultation – sorry for the paragraph!! Xx

Thanks for the reply girls. I’ve got mine on thursday with mr traynor. Do you need to take your top off at this one? I’ve been told to take some tops I usually wear with me. does he tell you wheather understand or overs would be best or do we have to decide? Xxx

No worries! And yes you need to take your top and bra off, was very awkward for me as I took my mum along with me and she’s never seen them haha! Just have to block that memory out lol.. and yes on my first surgeon consultation I took a tight fitted top and then for my second consultation I just took a top i usually wear and it was good to compare so definitely take a few.. and for me he told me I need unders as I don’t have enough breast tissue so yes they’ll let you know – traynor is straight to the point, I almost felt like he thought I was silly getting it done at first as I’m young but he just wants to make sure you want it.. on my second consultation he was fab! It’s just when you first meet him I think lol xxx

I’ll be going by myself more than likely so won’t need to worry about anyone seeing me lol bit embarrassing tho but I spose he sees this every day so it’s nothing to him. I haven’t got a date booked yet just need to get the cash together first but would love to get them done in January! I mainly just wear vest tops so do you think 1 which I would be wearing and a sports bra be enough? Yeah my pic says traynor is straight to the point, what made you choose him? He’s not awkward to talk to you is he? Lol My toss up is between him and mounir. Xxx

Ah well that’s alright then 🙂 and yea it didn’t feel awkward at all with traynor tbh, probably cos I was feeling more awkward with my mum being there but honestly it’s fine and yea January isn’t far away is it mines in 5 weeks eek!! I’ve had it booked since end of August so feels ages since I’ve booked it now and it’s all finally feeling closer 🙂
And yea vest tops are good especially the tight ones! I just got a cheap one from primark for my consultation and you have to put on there granny bra for the sizers lol it doesn’t look the best but gives you an idea! And I’ve been on this forum for a while so I’ve been reading/seeing a lot of traynors work and I just knew he was who I wanted 🙂 and no he’s not awkward you can just tell he definitely knows his stuff which is a good thing, he comes across very blunt but honestly if you need to ask him anything don’t let that hold you back as he was glad I went back to see him to tell him I wasn’t 100% happy with his first recommendation as he just wants you to be happy xxx

I’m feeling a little bit nervous now and I don’t know why lol will I get it on paper what he recommends? Cause I’ll probably forget! Did u ask many questions? I no my mind is going to go blank! Lol think I’ll just take a vest top with me. Ah god it seems quite embarrassing really like when your a little girl stuffing things in your bra lol!! I’m going to feel so awkward! Aww haha I felt really nervous for my first consultation and couldn’t wait for my surgeon consultation haha it’s just so nice to find out what you can have! And he writes it’s down but you don’t get the peice of paper they keep it but you can always write it in your phone so you remember 🙂 I’m sure you won’t forget if you’re debating what size to go for weeks if not months haha it’s such a hard decision! I’ve got 325, 350 and 375 ordered for surgery day.
And he answered most things I wanted to ask without me asking tbh, I forgot to ask if he uses strapping but I’ve since seen that traynor doesn’t use strapping or drains! Your mind does go blank when you’re in there though haha, I just made sure to tell him what look/size I wanted.. I asked him about after I have a baby will they change loads and he said he couldn’t tell me how much they would change as your body would change naturally even if you didn’t have implants.. he was talking about rippling and my mum asked him “so what would she do if she got rippling” and he just said “eat more” haha.. and I know exactly what you mean I felt exactly the same I felt so silly for some reason but then i remembered how much I wanted this.. and I don’t think anyone else is in the room with you and traynor but I’m not 100% as like I say I already had my mum (and my boyfriend) with me, after you see traynor he will ask you to wait again in the waiting room for your pc, when she calls you in that’s when you’ll try the sizers on so it’ll be just you and her, first time I tried sizers on my pc mustn’t of been in so I had another lady, she was very helpful but I can see how you could maybe find it abit awkward as this woman is looking at your boobs and hooking up the bra for you etc.. my second sizers was with my actual Pc and she just let me do everything and didn’t look at my boobs/hook up the bra but to be honest you just don’t feel awkward when you’re with them 🙂 I didn’t anyway as they’re so nice. and no worries I like talking about it all haha xxx

Btw I only had a second sizers because I had a second consultation as I wanted bigger, you don’t normally have another sizers appt I don’t think unless you try them again at the pre op but I’ll have to let you know about that, my pre op is on 14th December! Xxx

Been to my appointment I felt a bit awkward lol! He doesn’t really say to much and seems like very serious if u know what I mean. I got offered 250, 275, 300 and 325 high profile unders. When I tried them on with my pc they didn’t seem as big as I’d hoped but he did mention about when the boob bulges out at the side because there to big and this isn’t the look I want so I don’t no wheather to listen to him or push for slightly bigger or get a second consultation with mounir. So confused! He also said to me they won’t look fake and I was wanting the more rounded look! Did he say this to you? I regret not showing him the look I want but that’s because he didn’t ask and I felt awkward telling him what I wanted when I spose he knows what’s best. Xxx

Ahh it’s so hard isn’t it! I don’t want them to big either tho and I’m sure iv seen some girls on here who have had 325 and they do look a good size, it’s just so hard. I just feel like he knows best but then I don’t want to regret anything. When he started at the 250 he made his way up to 300 and then said 325 at the most so I’m not sure he’d even go bigger. I did say to my pc ‘do you not think he’d go bigger’ and she says I think they’d look great (meaning 325) said she thinks they look good for my frame. Are you going for the 375 if they fit? I forgot to ask if they would change when I eventually wanted a baby lol xxx

I know it is isn’t it! And yea I’ve seen women get a good size with 325/350 🙂 and I’m sure he would if you asked like with me he didn’t go over 325 and said that’s the max he’d recommend.. when he started low I was thinking omg please don’t stop at the smaller sizes haha! And that’s good then if she thinks they look great 🙂 is personally prefer them to be a bit bigger than smaller so I’m just trying to play it safe haha and I honestly can’t see 375 fitting in me tbh but I’ll just say to him fit the biggest you can in please 🙂 but like I say I’d be happy with 350. He’d probably just say the same as he did with me that they’ll change just as they would naturally xxx

Have you tried the 375 on? Did they feel better? I’m the same would rather a little bit big than to small but I don’t like huge! Lol.. iv seen quite a few good results with 325 just want to see a few pics to help me decide lol it’s such a big decision! Xxx
