Iv booked through Birmingham mya not even got an inkling as to what sort of time itl be,whether mr t will order all implants he offered me, I’m panicking only met him once thought I’d have to see him after my pre op.do u know what size ur having? Do u mind if I add u so can see how u get on xxx

Add me hun thats fine. Who’s ur pc? Stop worrying, if u really want to see surgeon again they’ll get u booked in, you may hv to travel to manchester mya tho. I couldn’t chose between the 385 or 410 so they ordering both to decide on morning. Don’t panic it’ll all be fine, just over thinking, I do it! Xxx

Hey Hanna I’ve stopped panicking now spoke to my PC yesterday she’s ordered all of them for me so415,450,485 and 520.stoll can’t decide I think I’m just going to say to dr t if he thinks biggest will look ok to do that and if they’ll fit if not then prob 485,I’m so excited wish it were this weds xxx

Apparently day cases don’t go down later than 10ish, that’s wt nurse mentioned .Cos they want u finished and in recovery x

Oh right fair enough isn’t it,maybe I won’t get the kids to school then,it’s going to take me 2.5 hours to get there xxx

Hi girls, good luck with your ops! Preston First Trust is lovely and the staff are really nice 🙂 You’re in good hands with Mr T! Although, i was a day case, my admission time wasn’t until 10.30am and my op wasn’t until 3.30! I was back in my room by 4.30 and left at about 7pm 🙂 so not all day cases are done by 10, but some may be and they like to keep you at least a couple of hours after your op but usually longer, all depends how you’re doing afterwards xx

kate as u know my admission was 8am and was down having anasthetic by 9:10 and signing forms to go at 14:30 xx

I know I was so bored! Haha it’s just the way it goes, I was 6th on the list and there was more in after me too I think! Admission times usually aren’t much later than mine, so that you’re there if they need to change the order of the list or anything, all depends where you are on the list, if you’ve got an early admission time though like 7.30, you’re likely to be one of the first down 🙂 if you ring Preston hospital directly for your admission time they may have it earlier than MYA will let you know xx

yea Philippa i was the first on the list with an admission time of 8am. think he had 8 or 9 patients that day xx

I think I’m just panicking about the kids but it is what is I can’t wait,just got to get the weekend out the way then ill have my admisission 🙂 tell u what can’t wait for a glass of wine xxx

I was 6th on the list depends on how quick they can get through everyone i managed to drop my daughter at school before going got my dad to collect after school and take her for tea i got my admission time 2 days before op when uve got kids child care at last min pain in bum xx

See I don’t think I’ll manage dropping my lad at school as we got to travel 2.5 hours,my mum n dad are having my youngest all day anyway then iv got one at school from 8.45 and one at Prev school from half 12,mum n dad are great though they said they’ll sort it u just worry when u got kids don’t u xxx

Defo worry constantly coz their ur number 1 priority , im the only 1 on my team at work who has a child and allowed to keep my phone my desk just in case school rings my heart sinks every time x
