First Trust Hospital?

Can someone who has been to this one tell me what’s it’s like, like what they have in the rooms and stuff?

I phoned up for some information a few weeks back but the girl said they were being redecorated and wasn’t particularly helpful.

They are lovely, clean, comfy (although I used the dressing gown they provide for an extra pillow), you have a nice on-suite, tv, bed, uncomfy chairs for guests (although there’s a guest waiting area that’s more comfy)
The staff, especially chris, are lovely, very caring and helpful. The menu was limited (I’m lactose intolerant and couldn’t eat anything provided)
Outside looks like an old house in a horror film, but it adds to the character. There’s also the famous peacock to look out for

Hiya hun oh god going to be really honest now ;( my room at First trust was a dump not at all like Joanabella described I had no telly no on-suite it looked more like a office. Tatty broken blinds no curtains and this is the part that really makes me wonder if they where too full on that day and the room was used as a last resort I needed to be sick ( sorry to go into detail) and asked the lovely nurse what could i be sick into she ran to the cupboards that where bare and I had to be sick in the water jug !! the poor nurse was mortified bless her …as was I lol. Defo not what you would expect considering all the money I had paid !!but hey ho I got lovely boobs and the nurses where amazing.

Sillymilly3 that doesn’t sound good! When did u stay ther? I stayed in room 5 in April n the room was lovely, wonder if they’ve changed the room numbers round or something? I was back ther last month and was in room 9 n it was identical to room 5, even had same pictures lol! I found it clean both times n most of the staff were nice. I dint see the peacock 🙁 maybe next time! X

Carrie i am sure you wont be in there lol x Charlie 1 I was there is August and honest a god my face must have hit the floor when the nurse took me in. I think as well when i got there i had to sit in the waiting room for nearly an hour as they said my room wasnt ready ( NOOO SHIT). it defo didnt look like a private room and it was tucked out the way from everybody else. Dont get me wrong i wasnt expecting the Ritz but just thought it it would have been a bit nicer. Oh well girls it wasnt about how nice the room was it was all about the boobs and I am so happy with them xxx

I hun, i loved it at First Trust, it was like a hotel and the staff were lovely 🙂 Ive since had a re op at Highfield in Rochdale and it is horrible and the staff are worse. Even ended making a complaint about the care i received at Rochdale. Seriously you are in good hands and its a nice place 🙂 xx

Omg I wudnt of been happy either! Maybe it wasn’t a proper room n they’d over booked so they put u in a store cupboard or something n quickly put a number on door hoping u wudnt notice! Yeah ur right about the boobs being the most important thing n I wudve given up my nice room if it ment I was happy with my boobies! Then again at £400 for an overnite stay I expect the ritz lol! Xx

Ha ha Charlie 1 i did wonder why the cleaner kept coming in to empty her mop bucket 😉 x I think they wanted me out the way for some reason!! maybe it was because of my nervous laugh and talking non stop talking when i got there ….I was on my own and needed a distraction lol 🙂 I did myself no favours when i came around from the GA telling the nurses 50 Shades was over rated Ohhhh the shame of it xxx

gemmadobson1 ha ha wouldn’t mind a Christian in my life he could lock me away in the red room anytime 😉 just got a bit bored with it all and gave up on the 2nd book half way through. Will send you a lil message tomorrow hun xxx

Lol!!! I said something about puttin make up on n doin my hair when I came round, think I was paranoid about looking a mess lol! I gave up on 2nd book half way thru too n it’s still sat on drawers at side of my bed! Xx

I didn’t find it the ritz and have been to better private hospitals in the past however I didn’t get a cupboard I got a room with a bathroom and TV. The nurses were fantastic couldn’t have asked them for more. Food was pants so take some snacks, I would go back its clean, fab staff and saw the peacock x
