    Hi ladies

I have my BA on Wednesday and have just received my email with my admission time.
Can anyone advise if my partner will be allowed into my room with me as it says on the email that there is a separate waiting area for the chaperone

    Thanks

I’ve just received mine too, it says they only have the facilities for one chaperone which I believe means in your actual room. I’ve seen people posting videos on YouTube and they’ve had someone with them right up to been taken to theatre and then waiting in there room as soon as they come back xx

I’m booked in for Thursday, still awaiting admission time but hoping that my partner can wait with me too, especially if it’s a lot of waiting around x

I’ve just had my surgery at a different hospital. Heading home in an Uber now! My partner had to stay in the reception until I was admitted. They brought him into the room then and he waited there until after my op. They asked him to leave the room for a few minutes while they got me into bed but otherwise he was by my side the whole time x

I had my surgery this morning at Preston! They were all amazing. So lovely and reassuring and very laid back! They let my sister stay with me until I went down to theatre and she was back in my room with me straight away once done. Good luck, you’ll be fine xx

I’ve been fine so far! Had overs so recovery tends to be easier but I had op at 10:30 this morning and haven’t taken any pain killers yet (other than what they gave me during op) xx

I was sick with nerves about the anaesthetic but there was absolutely nothing to worry about. It was actually a nice experience! Really relaxing. The worst bit was the worrying for nothing. The staff are so lovely too, you’re in good hands. Good luck for tomorrow, you’ll be fine xx
