Fitzroy

Just want to hear people’s opinions and views on Fitzroy. How did you find it? As I would be having my surgery there and wanting to be a day case as I live about 2 hours away, and would rather recover at home. Thanks 🙂 x

I had mine there they are great it is advised you stay in London over night incase of complications x

The staff were great. I was soooo nervous and emotional and they made me feel so relaxed. Kept checking in on me also xx

I went home the same night it took me a while to get discharged though and waiting in the closed waiting room downstairs while my oh got the car from Euston wasn’t great lol. I think I would have preferred to stay in. Did u girls get dinner and breakfast was it nice? X

Due to having a BA and vaser I’ve been told I have to stay in. I’m unsure about what to bring for an overnight stay? Some people have said being your own snacks??

Ok thanks ladies. It’s sounds good there 🙂 I asked about being a day case and the surgeon said they would prefer that and we’re happy unless at the day of surgey I had to stay in. I might stay in London as an excuse to stay in a hotel :).
Samantha I have a date for Jan 6th I was wanting it done after Christmas due to work but Singh is on holiday and he’s the surgeon I would like so will have to wait.

I still have plenty of time to decide and chat with my pc.

I am booked to have my surgery at Fitzroy on the 12th 🙂 I was wondering what people done about parking? My friend is driving me and staying until they kick her out lol. I’m staying overnight and she is going to pick me up the next day… What’s the best thing for her to do about her car? xx

We parked at the big car park at Euston station. It’s a 15 min walk from the Fitzroy. It is expensive tho. X

I have heard there’s a website that you can pay for parking and some people rent their driveways ands it’s all on there I jlcant remember what it’s call the something like ncp? X

There’s an ncp car park 5 mins away at the holiday inn I payed £30 for a whole day x

I had my. Op on Monday and am so glad I stayed in as I was really sick after. The nurses are lovely and really took care of me. I don’t think I would of coped well with the journey home x

Glad to hear all the positive posts about Fitzroy makes it all a bit easier. Hope your all doing well x
