For people worrying about recovery

Before my op I read so many horror stories about recovery and it taking forever to be able to do anything for yourself so wanted to give all pre op girls a bit of reassurance going on my experience 🙂 I know everyone heals at different rates but I am day 7 post op and back at work today. I feel amazing and can’t fault my aftercare from MYA. Day 1 and 2 was awful but day 3 onwards I’ve improved each day getting more movement in my arms and was off the painkillers. My nurse rang Monday (day 4) and then I saw her on Wednesday (day 6) my PC then rang after my appointment as she was out the clinic that day. The sleeping at an angle is difficult but bearable. Hope everyone is looking forward to their ops and not worrying too much xxx

I hope my recovery is like yours! I’m meant to be going back to work po day 4! Are you happy with your results so far? xxx

Hey karis glad you are doing fab you have put me to shame day 1_4 was awful but then each day iv been feeling great until today i have been so sore all over back arms!!! Dont know what iv done but feel dreadful today… Hope work was ok x

Hi Laura yes really pleased, they are changing every day and I love them! @dawnc bless you hun everyone is different and your implants are little bit bigger than mine so could have something to do with it. Work was good thank you, I’m shattered now though so hopefully will sleep easy tonight lol. Hope your arms and that are feeling better tomorrow and you’ve been able to rest today. Course I don’t mind Lisa, accepting you now xxx

Hi karis was just wondering how you were doing? Hope you are well amd pleased with the outcome so far. I cannot wait to have my 6 wks check and be able to go get measured. And not wear this strap. Is it 30 days we have to wear it for? If so mine can come off on thursday woohoo xx

Hey Dawn I’m good thank you. How are you getting on? I know what you mean, it can’t come quick enough. Back in normal bras and not worrying so much. The strap is 4 weeks from the day of your op. I’ve been a bit naughty and not wearing mine this weekend. I’m in Cardiff for the rugby and just couldn’t be doing with it. Comes off next Thursday anyway lol. How are your incisions? Mine are still quite obvious if that makes sense xxx

Was so encouraging to read your post as I am having my op tomorrow but am more nervous about the recovery! Have only booked a week off work and am worried it won’t be enough time to heal… But I work in an office so hopefully all will be well. Was uplifting to hear your recovery experience 🙂 x

Hi karis im good thanks my incisions are doing ok my left one seems to look a lot neater amd nearly all cleared up compared to my right one.. Cannot wait to take breast band off if its 4 weeks then thats tomorrow for me yippee. Im so excited to wear normal bras coupke of more weeks xx

Hey Dawn, yeah one of mine is neater than the other. Hoping they start to look better over next two weeks, they are small just still quite raised. Oh bless ya, relieved it’s off now? Mines tomorrow. I know right normal bras are going to be amazing xxx
