For pre op girls: what you can not miss and what you have to look forward to

BEFORE MY OP IN THE PAST: 🙁

1 My top consisting of nothing but padding underneath, no these are not my boobs!
2 Having to go lingerie shopping again…. Now where are bras which are padded enough AND comfortable? Looks like another splurge on calvin klein ones then
3 saying I don’t like swimming as I do not posses a swimming costume
4 needing to wear a 2 sizes bigger bra to my cousin’s wedding so the dress gives me a shape and I look a bit curvy not straight down
5 my boobs not seeing daylight as they are covered by high neck tops …. Low cut is not a good look for me
6 having to wear a bra right til I go to bed when with family or friends
7 buying a bra slightly to big in the cup….. Psychologically I feel bigger
8 my 14 year old cousin has bigger boobs than me, how is that fair?
9 not needing to wear a sports bra for zumba, there is no bounce

POST SURGERY NOW 🙂

1 Looking down and my bra having two nice additions in it
2 being soft and squishy not flat and hard
3 going lingerie shopping and coming out of Victoria’s Secret feeling very naughty indeed
4 the option of buying the bra I want in the colour I want. Its like being a kid in a sweetie shop
5 no longer a member of the Compulsory Padded Bra Club
6 I can wear a sexy dress or top if the mood takes me
7 bikinis? I love an hourglass vintage look
8 My boobs sit in my bra, not suffocate in it
9 the cheeky, sassy feeling of wearing a slightly too tight top

Love this and have all of this to look forward to! My op is booked in next Thursday and have my pre op this morning! Number one pre – op made me laugh.. so many of my friends/close family have said ‘you don’t need one, you’ve always looked like you have a good pair. .’ Etc then I explain it’s all padding with those bras that boost you by two sizes!!

Ahh this was/is me down to a T. 10days post opp. Even tho my boobs arnt huge, but being able to wear a vest top and feeling comfortable is huge. Still haven’t been measured yet, can’t wait to lose my bra fitting virginity!! Best of luck girls xx

Thanks for the luck wishes Jennifer and Nicki. I look forward to wearing vest tops or not having to wear my bra til later in the evening , not that my partner is at all bothered, just my own self-confidence, as I’m just so flat without them! Good luck Julie, when is your op? Xx

I cant wait to be able to wear a vest top and fill it out, its the one thing i am really looking forward to! …..the litte things eh xxx
