Free re ops???

Hi girls. Im almost 4 wks post op with 375cc overs from a 30A. I had slight asymtry pre op & my surgeon (mr Mounir) said if needed he would different sized implants. But he never. My left breast seems to be settling fine but my right still seems higer up & looks a lot smaller than the other. Im hoping it will eventually catch up but im starting to think it wont as its been like this for wks now.& doesn’t seem be changing. Im beginning to think maybe is capsular contraction? Or maybe cos my surgeon should have used a larger implant in the smaller breast? If they are still like this at 6wks can I ask for a free reop?

Yes they do offer re ops but it depends on how severe it is.
I have to say mya have been amazing with my Cap contracture. But bare in mind you will need to wait a good six months before they can fully determine what it is because there’s still a chance they will drop x

I see what you mean @floralena. If I were you I’d try and wait it out, you are only four weeks after all. It’s dead hard to be patient but try not to stress yourself too much. Maybe ask about seeing your surgeon when you go for your six week check? Xo

Yeah ill try wait it out and mention it at my 6wk app. Your right its soo hard to be patiemt n I just keep thinking its never going to change but I suppose 4 wks is still early isnt it. Its just hard when I see other patients pics after like 2 wks etc and theirs are perfect, I keep thinking there’s something wrong with mine 🙁 xx

@amber. Aww thats great that mya have been good with their aftercare for you and thats reassuring to hear. How long did u wait to find out you had CC and do u have any pics of ur cc to give me an idea of what to look out for? Xx

Everyone is different love, you’ll drive yourself mad comparing your boobs to other people’s lol. If you’re really worried give your nurse a ring and just explain what they look like and maybe send her a pic. Hopefully she’ll be able to put your mind at ease xo

@Alex. I know its not good to compare isnt it lol. I sent my PC a pic n message via email and she said she would pass it on to my nurse but ive not heard anything yet. Ill just wait till my 6wk app n see if theres any change I think xx

Yeah you may as well wait, they’ve still got a lot of changing to do anyway 🙂 hopefully they’ll even out soon xo

U would definitely expect it to be free to fix a problem but best thing to do is ring them and find out hun. Id like to know what to expect if I had cc and how to prevent it xx

I asked my nurse at my six week check if there was anything I could do, or not do, to prevent getting cc and she said no. Apparently some girls get it and some girls don’t @kitty xo

@alex91 ok so it’s just a matter of watching for the signs then…what are the signs of having it hun?xx

I think so yeah @kitty. My nurse said your boob will become hard, will look a different shape and will probably sit higher than the other. She also said cc will most likely only happen in one boob. Think it’s painful too xo

I didnt even know what the signs were until now, thanks @alex. Mine is deffintly sitting higher than the other & does look a different shape although im not sure uts any harder than my other one. Ill just keep an eye on it. Xx

@kitty. Yeah u would assume its free wouldnt you. Im sure I read that we are covered in the info pack but I have heard some stories from people saying its harder than it seems to get a reop from them. :/ xxx

Hmmmm let’s hope they’re not one of these companies where they will chase for u to get the procedure down and get their money but if problems arise they back off. I’ve heard a lot of things about mya but I personally found them a wee bit pushy. It was too far for me to travel anyway so I had mine done at a more local private hospital. Love this forum tho as everyone is so helpful xx

@floralena I’ve just had a look hun and it looks completely normal to me, I had the same and being under the muscle one took forever to drop! I’m just over 12 weeks and they still keep changing and they have softened up but not that soft yet. I know it’s hard to wait when all we want is perfect boobs but try and be patient, you’re still early days xxx
