Fresh out of surgery! 350cc unders

Hi girls! I’ve finally had my breast augmentation so wanted to share my story, as I’m lying here with time to kill until they discharge me. I had my op with Dr Linda Fiumara. She is by far the nicest surgeons I have met. I felt at total ease with her and completely trusted her judgement. I was completely relaxed prior to the op, until I walked into the operating room and I felt so overwhelmed. They injected me with some type of traquilizer, that stung my arm a little but felt suddenly completely chilled. They put the mask on my face and I was out. I woke up and was hysterically crying. I was completely submissive to my emotions and thought I wouldn’t ever stop crying. My teeth were chattering and my whole body was trembling and my left breast was in absolute agony. The staff were amazing and gave me some morphine (which I’ve never had before!) and the pain went away and my mind was clear. I also had a little chat with the girl next to me, so hey if you’re reading!
I’m really grateful for the staff as they have taken care of me as I’m here alone.
I wanted a natural look, so was worried they would be too big but they are looking a little smaller than I expected. Too early to tell but I will keep you all posted as reading your blogs and pictures helped me when deciding and I’d like to help others if needed.

Wow!! I’m getting 310/350cc unders next Friday so this was nice to read and see how it all went for you. Did you have teardrop? What size were you to begin with if you don’t mind me asking? X

I think they will be good size when they drop xx unders are always smaller after op and then a bit bigger when dropping 🙂 happy healing too you

I highly recommend going back for another consultation and ordering some other options. I will private message you what happened xx

I’m currently 10 days post and I had Linda too. She is lovely. Though only thing is you can’t be discharged until she has seen you and that’s usually after her list is finished… she likes see what bra you have and put it on. Her post operative care is very specific 1 week post op, 2 week post op and she personally wants to see you at 4 weeks post aswell. I know she has the lowest infection rates too.

I had 375cc unders from a 34a. Hope you are feeling ok xx

Hi Clare, they look amazing! Just a little tip, get some breast pads to put under the band, i find mine has irritated my skin quite badly and is a nice bit of relief 🙂 Try and make yourself as mobile without forcing/hurting yourself, even if just every few hours you get up and have a wander for 5 minutes. I really think that helped with my recovery as I was getting a bit stir crazy after the second day staring at the walls. I also had Linda 10 days ago and so happy with my decision to go with her, after meeting her I knew I didnt really want anyone else! Happy healing hun will be following your results 🙂 xx

Nothing to be worried about. This is just my advice from my own experience. Everyone is different and may not even need to. It might just help especially if you are on the fence with sizes.
I wasn’t aware because I’ve never had anything like this before but you have to have a 48 hour cooling off period after you’ve chosen your sizes. As you know your breasts can change, weekly (mine get really hard and big when I’m on my period or if I put on weight for example). However, they will only use the sizes that they consulted you with at your consultation. In case you change your mind on the day, or your breasts change size then it’s better to have options

@san that’s really good to know on the infection rate. Yeah it was a long day, but I was pretty comfortable just chilling all day with nothing to do. are you happy with the 375cc? Have they dropped?

In absolute agony today and barely slept a wink. I’d say that the neck pillow is a life saver for sleeping

Hey @claire please don’t be worried. I wrote the details above instead as a few people had asked. Everyone’s experience is different and my boobs changed so much between the consultation and op day. I had only ordered one size therefore I couldn’t proceed. But I wasn’t to know. However Fuimara orders several sizes anyway so I didn’t need to ask Xx

Mya have been really amazing and will make you feel at ease. This forum is one of the reasons I chose to go with them because it has really helped me reading everyone’s experiences. What size are you going for @claire ? Are you excited? The pain is a little worse than I expected but they give you lots of pain relief. Hoping to get through the first 5 days and hopefully will get easier xx

Breast pads and Sudocream are my saviours haha! Yes I am still wearing the band, with Linda she likes for you to wear it for 4 weeks post op so I still have some wearing to do haha some people have to wear it slightly longer though which is why she asks to see you at approx 4 weeks post op when you’re about to be taking the band off to assess how you are doing xx

That’s one of many reasons I chose may too . I’m having 350/375 due odd boobs lol, mod plus unders. Can’t wait, seems so far away and yet I’m so unorganised it’s unreal. Had pre op on Tuesday so hoping every thing is going to be good to go.
