Oh gosh 2 hours is a fair drive for you isn’t it. I haven’t got any bands either I’m not sure if that’s because I have overs maybe. I didn’t find the drains painful just realllllly gross haha xx

Yes it’s been long I need a wee but I’m still I. Jamas don’t want to go to a service station! Haha, weird because when I had my pre op she booked me a 2 weeks appointment to get breast band taken off! When’s your first appointment booked for? Xx

Mines booked for this coming Friday to check the dressing ect. Maybe give them a ring and check now you dont have a bad on she might want to see you sooner? Xx

I was so Ill from the anaesthetic I was in all night hadn’t eaten anything and threw up twice ended up on a drip lol I feel great now and I’m they just feel very sore and feel like I’ve done a killer upper body workout lol! Xx

Oh no Sarah that’s not what You want when you come round is it! As long as your feeling good now though. It just goes to show how different every one is doesn’t it. We’ve all reacted so differently to each thing. Xx

These co codamol keep knocking me out, have they dodone that with any one else like after and hour from taking them I just drop asleep without realising untill j wake up 20 mins later xx

I have text my PC if she doesn’t reply I’ll give them a call later, it is so strange we’ve all been different!

And yes claire I keep nodding off, feel really drowsy and keep saying the same things my mom said!

Hi again ladies! I feel sleepy but can’t seem to nap. I’m lying on the sofa, all the cushions, blanket, blinds closed and still can’t nod off. Think I’m still excited about it all despite the pain.

@Sarah – It took me a long time to eat and I felt so sick when I first tried to walk yesterday and thought I was going to be sick. Had to sit back down for half hour with a sick bowl. I was so scared of being in so much pain and then throwing up with all the convulsions – you must have been terrified. Glad you’re feeling better now.

@Louis – I had 450cc hp unders. Worried I’ve gone too big now though, not what I was expecting when I spent the last few weeks wondering if I should take the larger option if 500cc. My boobs are practically in my neck at the moment and still look funny looking, can’t wait to see what they’re supposed to look like when they settle, I litterally can’t imgaine it right now!

I do have a band on, it’s really quite tight and rubbing where the excess Velcro is on the one side. I have my appointment back at MYA next Friday at 10am to see the nurse and have my check up. Apparently I should be able to have a shower after my check up but right now that feels like the last thing I want to do. I have to ask my partner to dress me and help me get on the loo as it is – so embarrassing!

I have had 350 hp over the muscle which is why I didn’t have a breast band, my PC spoke To my surgeon and 2 weeks is way to long to wait for 1st appointment ! So glad the nurse said something!! Mine are quite swollen right now and look big! But I literally had nothin before so it’s quite a shock!! I think at first they seem bigger as their swollen but will soon settle 🙂 xxx

I’m hoping I can have a shower next week then! The thought of not being able to have a proper one for 2 weeks was awful! ???? xx

Yeah, so long as we’re healing well no reason why we can’t shower on Friday. Can’t imagine what state my hair will be in by then although the thought of trying to wash it right now makes me cringe! Has anyone else got compression socks on still?! I was told to keep them on for 5-7 day’s!

Mum said she would try wash my hair over our kitchen sink. If that doesn’t work she will take me to a salon and I’ll see how it feels leaning back instead.
Yeah the nurse at the hospital told me to keep them on for at least 5 days due said it’s cause I won’t be as mobile as I’m use to. I’ve hardly noticed them though I thought they would start to annoy me but it’s just like wearing leggings.

I’ve unclipped the last three hooks on my bra and moved them to the bigger row and it feels soooooooo good. I can actually breathe again xx

I might consider a salon if it gets too much. Glad you’ve found some comfort in your bra 🙂

Another question, do your boobs feel i your armpits too? It’s weird, I’ve got bits sitting all up high but it also feels like they’re spreading round the sides :/

They do feel quite wide my left is a little closer to the side than the right, I’ll brush my arm against them and it’s a bit of a shock. I think it might just be because they’ve never been there before? Maybe it’s because of how hard and swollen they are aswell? X

Maybe. I think the nurse or PC May have said it’s normal to feel them under your armpit slightly but I’m still nervous in case it’s moved out of place. My right one feels further round than my left :/

Hey girls, had mine done yesterday too!
Just been distarged but they’ve sent me home in drains, dreading having them out!
I was sick all day yesterday, nauseous from the anesthetiser! Urgh so feel much better today!

Anyone of you feel like your temperature is hotter than normal? I’m usually freeing but I got the window open and cheeks look flushed but they’ve been checking my temp and all ok!x

I wouldn’t worry too much it’s only been a day and you’ll still be very swollen obviously if it’s still the same when you see the nurse voice your concerns, I’m sure it’s nothing out of the ordinary x

Hi Stacey yeah I had very flush cheeks this morning untill around 12.30 they seem to have gone down now . The rest of me was cold. I didn’t worry too much if it stayed that way untill evening I was going to get mum to check my temp.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the drains, personally I didn’t find they hurt so to speak, I’m so squeemish so the feeling knocked me a little sick but it was over quite quickly Xx

Stacey that sounds awful! Better be worth it all! I do feel quite warm but there’s a lot of action and pain going on in my torso so I guess that’s to be expected. Don’t feel like I have a temperature or anything though.

I’m trying not to move or do anything, just watching Netflix, but wondering if I should be trying to move my arms a little every now and then or stretch my back/chest slightly? The more I leave it the more painful it seems to be when I do try and move as I stiffen up.

I hope so! I know my hair will be vile, I was going to gk to a hairdresser and get it washed Thursday! I’m dying to have my nails and lashes put back on I feel about 12! I got asked yesterday if I was a minor! (not at clinic)

The first nurse I saw said 5 days then when I got discharged this morning the lady said 2 weeks before I can take socks off!

I also have flushed cheeks but I am a cold person so never really warm!

I am trying to move around a little because I went for a wee and it was sooooo painful! Xxx

Just got up to go to the loo and realised my right has already dropped lower than my left. It’s significantly less bulging at the top. Hope it’s normal and it’s not just working it’s way round my armpit, don’t really want a back boob! ????

My cheeks are really flushed and warm! And my bra is so tight haha I’m tempted to go buy a bigger banded one so I can breath lol!
I’ve only taken one cocodamel as I was so scared of feeling nautious again and even that knocked me out so when I take two later I’ll be gone haha.
I keep having a sneak peak and mine are so high but I like he size so far, I had 375 overs xx

I wouldn’t think so. I’d rather have it too tight than too loose to keep everything together.

Just found out they offer a 475cc which my PC kept telling me they didn’t as that’s what I would have gone for after spending weeks agonising over which size to get. As it happens I’m feeling like these might be big enough but I’ll be gutted if they’re not once dropped and fluffed 🙁

Its a shame my bra doesn’t have hooks it’s m and s but I might just go get a bigger one anyway to give me a break haha.
I was tossing up between 350 and 375 I’m glad I went bigger but I was offered 400 aswell which I reckon I could of gone for now. But they say you always get boob greed xx

I’ve not looked at mine since yesterday either I’ve had a peak down and noticed my stretch marks are pinky purple again but I was expecting that. I think I’ll be to chicken to undo all the bra for a few days x

Yes my surgeon provided me with the Macon bras they are soo tight! I just checked my my sizes are extra small! I think that the point tho to push them down and keep in place!!

I might do in a few days I’m just so scared of it hurting haha xx

I’m not ready to look at mine, don’t want to risk anything! They look all weird and pointy through the bra anyway though so I’m in no rush to see them until they resemble actual boobs!

I’ve had to get a bigger bra as the pain of how tight they were was to much , now I’ve got a back size bigger I’m worried it’s not tight enough, stressing now which one is the right one to wear ! Xx

Speak to your nurse and see if she could advise? I’m sure if you wore the bigger a little bit to help breath for say and hour or too like when your eating for example and then the tight one again? I’ve actually found since I uncooked the bottom of mine the swelling under my boobs has gone down and I could probably hook them back on the tight one now. So you might find the bigger helps the swelling go down and you can go back to the tight one? Xx

I’ve done just that Claire slept in the bigger one last night and put the tight one on again now and it feels ok now swelling must be going down a bit ! I woke up in such pain last night I think I might have pulled or moved funny in the night so annoying. How everyone’s pain levels ? Do you feel an improvement yet or you think it’s to early to say ? X

I deffo feel an improvement im thinking of stopping to cocodamol and going to normal paracetamol as it keeps wiping me out haha it makes me fall asleep! The antibiotics make me feel sick but I’m trying to eat with them. So it’s just uncomfortable now, how are you today? Xx

I feel mine have got bigger this morning! Slept ok actually but was dying to toss and turn! I stopped taking cocodomol last night as they just make me feel too drowsy so I’ve gone to paracetamol instead! So will see how I get on today! Xx

Hey Ladies! I’ve been napping a lot today, think it’s the cocodamol but I’m ok with that if it means I’m healing! My partner has been waking me up with tea, biscuits and cocodamol, then tea, toast and ibuprofen – I feel like I’m in a nursing home! He also popped out today and surprised me with a V pillow! Honestly don’t know how I’d have done this without him, he’s been so amazing! I can definitely feel a difference today, finding it a lot easier to breath and starting to get a little bit more mobility back before it starts to hurt. Can’t wait to get this strapping off though, the Velcro is killing me!

Aww that’s good to hear , I’ve found today a lot easier and I’m moving with less pain, my bra also doesn’t feel as tight which means he swelling is reducing. I’m starting to feel that bubbling/vibrating in my boob have any of you girls felt that yet? It’s ever so faint but weird lol x

Sarah, I thought I felt that on the first night! I kept waking up and just thought I was dreaming hahaha maybe I was dreaming.
I bought a new be a today but I’m still to chicken to take this one off, I’m scared incase it’s hurts 🙁 xx

I’ve thought a few time I felt something weird, freaked out a bit in case it was my heart lol wondering if this is the same thing?! I’ve noticed all my chest and tops of arms feel a little numb too, not quite normal to the touch – hope this is ok and is due to the swelling and bloating. How have you guys found eating? Are you eating as normal? Is your appetite the same? I’m worried about putting on more weight while I’m not doing much :/

I’ve not touched mine at all other than to check there’s no bleeding through the bandages at the bottom x

Hmm I haven’t felt anything. They’re pretty numb tbh, I would say my appetite is ok but I’m being very conscious of what I eat due to already feeling massive! I’m getting some aqua ban tomorrow which is supposed to help with the bloated feeling! I feel so uncomfortable in my stomach area rather than boobs! Are you eating the same? Xx

Yeah. I’d heard some girls were sick after surgery if they tried to eat too much but other than taking smaller bites I think I’m eating as normal. Just trying to be aware of what I’m eating and thinking how much I need to get back to exercising!

I read that you can get bubbling it’s just the air pockets in the breast pocket with the implant or something perfectly normal I’m
Told lol it’s ever so light but weird lol I’m so so bloated my stomache is hurting more than my boobs to tonight lol I have no appetite what so ever x

Yes my appetite hasn’t come back totally but I think it’s the antibiotics!

I got slight swelling in my left arm yesterday, I have to go to MYA today to get it checked out. I haven’t been to the loo yet but I suppose it’s all the medication. Stopped taking the co codamol yesterday but I’ve woke up in more pain today, they feel huge and I’m scared there’s infection although I had a look yesterday and they look ok. I expected to feel easier today, not worse!

I’ve woken up this morning with them hurting a lot more and feeling much more swollen. My strap feels really tight now 🙁

Oh girls the bloat is real 🙁
Now my swelling has gone down a little the big plaster over the little one on my right boob is pulling when I stand straight, it’s like tugging on the skin and it’s hurting! I don’t know if I should peak it off a little at the bottom to help loosen it up abit! Xx

Oh Halley mornings are the worst aren’t they. I’ve found after taking paracetomol and ibuprofen it feels a little better. Hope you feel a bit better soon! Xx

Girls mine feel bigger today aswell maybe it’s the dropping happening slowly ? They say they get bigger? God knows but I’m glad we an all do this as otherwise I think I would be worrying if I couldn’t talk to you girls who are going through the same ! Tracy I hope your ok? I’m going to change bras today and give them 2 mins air as god knows with al the pressure from my bra they need it lol Claire if it’s hurting I would just move it slightly you don’t want to aggravate it by the plaster rubbing xx
