Friend requests- message first!

Hi girls, we all want to help each other and show pics and give advice, so if you want to add me as a friend, please send a message first, it’s just polite, especially if we had not spoke to each other on any of the threads. i have already had 2 friend requests today from girls that i do not know, please send a quick message first! thanks 🙂 x

Agreed, it’s the polite thing to do, especially if we are sharing our private post-op pics with people! xx

Totally agre with this…. Wrote a thread saying I put my pictures up, had 10 adds and only 3 of the girls message me or wrote in the thread is it ok to add! Was so shocked by this xx

Yea, we are making ourselves vulnerable by posting very private pictures online. I would expect that anybody who wanted advice, or just to see (which i completely understand. I couldn’t stop looking at boobs before my surgery lol), would be courteous enough to ask permission before hand. It takes less than a minute to do 🙂 x

Thanks for the back up girls, was beginning to think it was just me and that I was being fussy?! 🙂 I’ll be adding my photo diary to my profile today and then I will keep adding so people can see progress, like Christina said, I liked seeing pictures of boobs before I had my op too! 🙂 x

I think personally, you need to get over yourselves! It’s not the end of the world if someone doesn’t ask “permission” we’re not at school anymore! Jeez, it’s not the end of the world. If you don’t want people looking at your pictures don’t put them up. Simple, stop taking things so seriously.

@Laura really no need! I personally think you need to check yourself on how you speak to people on support forum. That is not a supportive comment, or nice way to speak to someone who you might actually want some advice from at some point. Want to make your pics public so anyone can see them? There were issues with fake accounts recently. Also not everyone has a good result and don’t want voyeurs. If you’ve got nothing nice to say…..

I dont think its about permission..but i wont accept someone unless they send a message first!! as there are some dodgy accounts. its just manners..a simple ‘hope you dont mind the add’ is fine, or even them saying why they want to look..i.dont mind people looking if my pics will help them! x

@laura I personally think you need to back off! Your comment feels like its a dig specifically aimed at me when I don’t even know you! Like you said We aren’t at school anymore so there is no need for your bitchy playground behaviour when we are all being polite and simply asking people to send a quick message before sending a friend request! Grow up and back off! If you can’t be nice then don’t bother contributing to this forum!

@Vicky I know, it’s like a double treat. Waking up with them and then the grand unveiling! I had overs and initially thought they were quite small, but last night they had a growth spurt and are much bigger, feel heavy and I’m aware of my stitches. Still no pain relief needed though! I’m sure it’s just swelling, but I kind of hope it stays ha ha. I thought it was only unders that got bigger…. I’m so excited about seeing all the changes. I’m taking so many photos 🙂 xxx

@misfion I had overs too and mine have well and truly filled my macom bra and still seem to be swelling a little and I just feel like I have been punched in the ribs but other than that I feel fine, I have to keep reminding myself to take it easy 🙂 x

Me too! I was naughty and drove today, just to the shop about a mile away but I was fine 🙂 Had my friend in the car too so she was watching me. Need to keep reminding myself not to stretch or lift. It’s my drain areas that sting the most… x

I watched the twilight saga all day today, and I have to go bra shopping tonight at asda as they have swollen more and the 36e is too tight…should have gone for a macom…silly me lol! X

So glad it’s not just mine going mental! So much to take in. I’ve never been so aware of boobs, though my left one must be bigger as its been getting a few knocks 🙂 x

@christina oh my gosh, how much more are your boobs gonna swell?! I keep thinking I have not got bigger but I guess the macom I am wearing just stretches? Lol 🙂 x
