Hey ladies. Just thought I’d post some encouraging words to help those who are looking into having their BA, and those who’ve recently had their ops, but are unsure about how they feel about their new boobies. This is from my experience and I thought It’d be good to share with others.
For pre-op Ladies: Go for it. Get them done. You will love them and wonder how you ever lived, being unhappy with your boobs for so long. Your self-confidence will sky-rocket. You’ll be able to wear clothes you never dreamed you could before. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. You’ll be able to hide them/show them off if/when you want. All Mya surgeons have great reputations and are vastly experienced, so you are in excellent hands. Do a lot of research. Work with your surgeon to agree to a size/implant position that you and he will be happy with.
For Post-op ladies: Patience needs to be your best friend for a long long time, especially if you’ve had unders. Most boobs start off looking quite high and box-shaped but they begin to look better/bigger, each week that goes by. Comparing yourself to others is the worst thing you can do. Everyone heals differently, so results may differ from someone who had their op at the same time as you, or someone with the same size implant. A question that gets frustrating to read as it keeps getting asked over and over again on this forum: ‘One boob bigger than the other’. This is completely normal and is quite common. They were two separate operations, so they won’t heal the same. Again, patience is of the essence here, otherwise you are going to drive yourself crazy, thinking something has gone wrong. When you get measured after 6 weeks, don’t spend large amounts of money on lots of bras. They may not fit you at 12 or more weeks post-op, as your boobs may get bigger. Introduce new bras gradually.
Hope this is useful. I’ve attached a pic from pre-op to 4 months post-op. My boobs have come such a long way and am so proud and grateful to have them now. xxx
Brill post hun. Love how you said each boob is a separate operation and will heal differently that’s something I’ll remember when I’m post op! Great results too xxx
Hi I am 6 weeks po and am feeling that they are small 🙁 I’ve had 400cc unders please may I add you? I am currently a 34dd from a 34a I hope I get bigger
Thanks @Corran2510. Am glad you found the post useful.
@iramb, yes you can add me. I’ll accept. Hopefully, they’ll get bigger. All you need to do now is wait. But the 34DD you are now, is way better/bigger than the A you were before. At least you have something now.
Hey Hun thanks for this post you really have said everything I’m sure we were all desperate to hear! Your boobs look great what a change!! I’ve finally got a date for my surgery 26th July still seems so far away but you’re one of the journys I’ve followed for reassurance on here and I hope I will get as great a result as you xxx
Thanks Hun I’m counting the weeks !! So jealous of everyone’s new additions 🙂 xxx
@sharksaub00bage hi lovely!
Did your bra size get bigger? I had unders 9 days ago and I’m worried they look smaller because the swelling has gone down xx
@lisajay24, They seem smaller as the swelling reduces but they start to get bigger and change shape as they begin to drop and fluff. This will become very apparent after the 6-week mark. I noticed a lot of changes at 9-11 weeks post. Am 16 weeks post-op today and in the last 4-7 days, I’ve noticed more cleavage and more side boob in one of my sports bras, which seems a bit tighter now, compared to how it was at 6/7 weeks post. xxx
@sharksaub00bage thanks for filling me in Hun!
I hope that’s what happens to me! X
Hi hun how u doin? Ur boobies r lookin great 🙂 totally agree with everything u said
I had major boob greed and wasn’t fully happy with mine but I’m 8 weeks now and they have dropped n fluffed n I’m starting to love them 🙂 xx
I actually love this post I can’t stop reading it and I’m getting more excited lol…. My op is booked for 10th June I cannot wait. I’m having 400 split muscle unders. If I didn’t read posts like this I doubt I would feel confident and probably wouldn’t have done it! I’m hoping 400 won’t be too big as I want them to look as natural as possible. My surgeon said I would go to 36D… Just don’t want to be top heavy 🙁
@danip, am glad you liked my post. Good luck for your op in june. 400cc is a perfect size. You won’t be top heavy. You’ll be in proportion to the rest of your body. I promise you’ll love them each day that goes by. Don’t worry too much about how they look in the beginning as they do get better. xxx
@sharksauboobage hiya! Enjoyed reading your post, I feel like one are abit similar.. Could you take a look at my new post.
I’m nearly 3 weeks post op and same side as yours looks similar where the boob comes lower down and the other is higher and more round. Has this changed over time? Xxx
Omg thank you for post this, I keeping looking at my boobies and thinking I should have gone bigger then I have doubts they are not going to change.
Your boobs look great!!
