Full or modified uplift with implant?

Hi, I’ve now seen 2 different coordinators and 2 different surgeons and still no where near a point of knowing what’s best for me.

I saw Mr Netri (who I know is now leaving) at the beginning of August who suggested and approved me for a full uplift with 300cc hp implants. Due to him leaving, yesterday I saw Mr mounir (sorry if that’s spelt wrong) who has now said he genuinely doesn’t believe I need a full uplift and that a modified uplift with implant of 300-350 hp would work well for me. He said he doesn’t do the modified uplifts so I’m now being passed to 2 possible other surgeons.

I’m 33, 4 children plus 4/5st weightloss. I hate my chest, just empty bags of skin!! But both surgeons have told me that I only have mild sagging (grade 1 ptosis).

Has anyone been in a similar position and did you have a full uplift or just a modified uplift?

I would be very grateful for any advice, stories and before/afters!

Hi Jo,

I had an uplift with 300/325 hp overs on Wednesday with Mr Mahdi, I’m 35 and my boobs were A very flat 36b, he’s done an amazing job and he’s a lovely man, I’ve hardly had any pain just tightness, here’s some pictures of my before and after, I just wish I’d done it years ago!

I’ll second Mr Mahdi, I had a full uplift with a 325cc and 350cc implant 10 days ago, also had no pain. He was lovely and very caring, in and out of my room all day to check on me. My incisions are so neat as well and I don’t think the will be noticeable at all when they’ve healed.

Ahh Alyson, would be great to see ur after pics!! Did u have a full uplift or a modified uplift?

Me Mahdi is one of the 2 possible surgeons I’m going to be seeing so appreciate both ur replies!!! X

Hi jo, I had a full uplift, with implants – I don’t know what a modified uplift is to be honest, I just told him I wanted mine back where they belonged and some volume in the tops, I go for my post op apt on weds but il try now to put some pics up, still no pain they’re just starting to itch now haha! And yep mr Mahdi is amazing, he came back to check on me throughout the day too and even phoned up in the morning before I was discharged xx

Modified uplift is where they just raise the nipple slightly rather than needing full anchor cuts and any skin removal x

Ah I see haha I had the full works! Had my dressings off on weds and I am so pleased, yes they’re very swollen and slightly bruised still but I’m amazed at the difference, I’ll try one more time to post a picture, it’s of 1 week post op. If it doesn’t work il put it as my profile pic – you should defo be able to see that, I hope you manage to find a surgeon you are happy with xx

Hey! I had a modified mastopexy with Dr Mileto yesterday and the results are a above and beyond what I expected! I had 325cc high profile overs. I found it really hard finding anyone with my stats before I had the op so if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask! I was a 32dd before, 5ft 3 and 9 stone xxx

I stayed in over night and actually had the most relaxing time! The nurses are fab and are always checking to see if you need anything, lucky I had no pain so didn’t really need many painkillers but they asked every time they came in.

Hun are you able to post or send me a pic of ur after as my boobs are very similar to urs I’m also a 36b x

Hi girls I need some advice I’m not a mya patient i am 6 days post OP ancor uplift and 400cc implants moderate partiials I’m strapped for 3 weeks but one breast is bigger and lower then the other is this normal? I’m so worried it wont correct itself has this happened to anyone else? Really appreciate a reply thanks girls x
