Hi girls I am not a MYA patient but I had revision surgery on the 31st January so I am 1 week 1 day post op, I had revision due to waterfall syndrome I had 520cc under the muscle implants with no uplift previously which resulted in waterfall defect and really uneven implants, I really wanted to avoid the uplift but it didn’t work so my revision surgery was a full uplift and 375cc high profile implants over the muscle I am 1 week post op and it’s the best decision I have ever made, they are a lot more projected they are softer and move more like natural breast and they look bigger than what they did with being under the muscle with a bigger implant, I am so glad I did it, if you need a uplift please don’t try and avoid it it was the biggest mistake I had made and a waste of money, I am going to upload my daily progress photos as there isn’t much on uplift and implants, they change every day and they definitely settle a lot sooner than unders do, I hope this helps you make your decision xx

Glad your a lot happier. I done a post saying if your your borderline needing a uplift just go for it. I had over the muscle 8days ago and although they are a lot better than before I wish I went for the uplift but I trusted my surgeon wen he said implants would work and a few on here have looked great just having the implant but for me weren’t so fortunate. . I know in time I will need a uplift so should of just done it in the first place. Be good for other girls to read our advice and not make the same mistake. Look forward to seeing your pics x

I’m so glad your happier to! They are miles better and we only would have ended up needing the uplift in the future anyway, I am so happy with the way they are now and just looking forward to see the progression over the next month

Morning, I’ve been searching for forums on up lifts and this group came up. I’m hoping that you can give me some advice? I’ve booked in for my second consultation on the 11th of March and today I’m thinking about whether or not I’d like to go ahead with the uplift. Tbh my breast and downwards facing and and empty . I’m 41 with 2 children that were both breast fed. I’d like an uplift but the thought of the op and scaring scares the life out of me!! How are you healing? Would you still recommend the uplift? Do you have any regrets? Advice please ? x Donna x

Ohhh I’ve also been looking for someone who had a uplift and implant as this is what my mom is going for (I’m just having the enlargement) did you have any before pictures? Xxx

Hi girls.. I have had breast uplifts and implants now.. My second op was done 6 days ago..
Unfortunately the first surgery had to be redone 3 years later due to my implants being way to big for my frame which resulted in them looking misplaced and just horrendous. Also both of my implants had flipped so they were siting completely the wrong way. After changing the surgeon to Mr mileto and having smaller implants (225 cc) all seems good at the moment! I am going today to have my dressings taken off and to have a first look at my new boobs!

When I decided to have my uplift and enlargement it was because the electisity in my skin was terrible due to a lot of weight loss. Therefore I was adviced to have this procedure as the implants alone would have not done the job and my boobs would have been left with a lot of skin hanging around them.

The scars are scary at first but they do eventually heal and fade so don’t let this stop you from getting the results you want!
    Hope this helps x

honestly, being 3 weeks post op and have had the full lift (the most scars) it is not bad at all

the technique of the surgeon is key here

i told my surgeon that if possible i did not want a large infammory fold scar and to make it as short as possible

that being said i still havent been able to see the scar at the bottom thats how short it is and it completely disguised by your boob so thats a plus!

the nipple scar ends up looking really nice once healed too

Hi girls I am not a MYA patient and I was so glad I got the uplift they looked amazing and the scars was healing really well and very faint until this week, I have developed an infection and ended up with 2 holes that are pussing and quite deep, today I have woke up and it is now one very large hole with a lot of puss coming out of my right side, I went for a swab yesterday and now waiting for results I’m heart broken and extremely worried, hoping the implant doesn’t have to be removed, please do all the research possible and think of all the possible things that could go wrong before you make your decision, I was so unhappy with mine before, I have 2 children who I also breastfed but right now I wish I would never have touched them I’m devastated x

I had a full uplift on one side and an uplift and nipple reduction on the other side. I am so happy I had the uplift as my skin needed it because of my weight loss! Here are my before and afters x

I had some complications as well. My nurse thinks I was allergic to the glue that my surgeon used. Try not to worry too much hun, I’m sure everything will work out ?
