    As soon as you’ve paid they could not care less!

    I just feel like cancelling it all and going with someone else!!!

    Does anyone know contact details for management/complaints?

    I feel the same they cannot do enough wgeb they want you to book surgery but soon as you paid .. nothing ! I’m still waiting for a message from my PC for 4 weeks !!!!!!!

    which branch are you under i am with Nottingham and they have been fantastic, even rang to make sure i was happy hen i went to the Birmingham branch to see Dr Singh and have my pre op, my pc rang to see if i was okay, and if i needed to ask anything, she also rang when i got home to see if i had any questions and i had paid four weeks before that. I hope you get it sorted soon and they contact you xx

    I messaged my PC three weeks before my op. I had my op Monday and never got a reply. I’m happy with my MYA experience except my PC. Hope you get it sorted Xx

    They just constantly cancel my appointments and never phone/email back. I’m at the London one and quite frankly this isn’t nhs and if you’re paying all this money you should receive a better service! I’ve got my consultation booked for 4pm tomorrow. I’ve received 2 emails confirming this. Yesterday afternoon I also received a text confirming it then 2 hours later received a text confirming my consultation at ‘6pm’. I then phoned up to double check that it was at 4 and she sad for some reason it has been booked in twice and that she’ll cancel the 6pm and I’ve definitely got it at 4pm. Today I received an email confirming my appointment at ‘5pm’ I then phoned up and they said it’s in for 5 he doesn’t get in the clinic till 4:30. They’re just so unorganized. They don’t realize that people work and can’t just pop in whenever!
    Rant over…. I just hope the aftercare isn’t as rubbish as this has been!!

    Same here, my pc ignored my email I sent her 2 weeks before my op and even ignored it when it was resent! I never even had confirmation of them receiving the money once I had sent it! However, at my op everyone was lovely and helpful and have even received a phone call from the nurses to make sure I’m all ok!

    Yeah the thing is I have every confidence in the surgeons/nurses it’s just the administrative side is shocking. I’m a PA and I just don’t understand how they can get that side of it so wrong. It’s just common courtesy!

    That sounds awful!
    I’m with Nottingham and I have to say I’ve not had any problems with them. Quite the oppisite in fact, I can’t seem to get rid of them lol. I’ve opted for one of their last minute deals and due to a mental health issue they require a written report from my GP and mental health specialist, however they have very little time to get these responses. Obviously knowing that the NHS will take forever they have been on the phone to these people every day since I signed consent for them to get these reports trying to move things along. I’ve been updated every day on how it’s going too. I’ve already paid so as far as I am concerned they’re just going out of their way to make sure everything can go ahead for me 🙂

    I really upsets me that the company as a whole can be let down by one branch and that different customers get such different experiences 🙁

    Oh that sounds bad 🙁 I’m at London too and have to say they’ve been great for me so far, my PC has always replied really quickly, but haven’t paid yet so fingers crossed the good service continues once I do pay! Good luck with everything and I hope your appointment goes well 🙂 x

    It such a shame that people have to deal with this when this is supposed to be such a positive experiance for us! This defiantly seems to be an issue with certain branches, I’m at Newcastle and it has been great, my PC is always more than happy to help and answer any questions. They have always been on time only a slight delay once but again this is because they are taking the time to give people the time they need. They have been the one chasing my drs when they didn’t send back the information needed. So far i’ve been very happy with the service. I hope you get this sorted chick x

    I’ve been with Birmingham and my experience has been great. Couldn’t ask for better pre op or post op care!

    it seems all the branches up north are great… im with Essex ( Chelmsford ) and its been poor on the PC side, the nurse at my pre op was lovely I have to say though

    Yeah I feel like that’s the case too which is shame. Hopefully the aftercare will be supportive, that’s the only thing I’m worried about now :/. On the plus side I do like my surgeon which always helps!

After I paid I had hardly any contact and when I would ring and ask a question I felt like I wasn’t allowed and was annoying them and then I asked for another consultation because obviously your paying a lot of money around £4,000 and I just wasted to check the results I would get and the sizing I wanted , even though they was like yeah sure it’s fine, I just felt again like I was being. Annoying and wasn’t that welcomed . Whereas as the start before I paid it all seemed amazing

    OMG Rebecca you feel really strong about this don’t you! 😉 🙂

    I had really good service from Chelmsford, I think you have to remember that the PC is basically a salesperson, when you’ve paid they have done their job. Mine was lovely and did text me after the op to see if i was ok. She was great at answering daft questions for me as well before the op but she had had a BA fairly recently so I don’t know if that made a difference because she knew what i would be going through.
    The nurse is your best bet for support after the op.
