gals who had BA!

just wanted to know if any of u had to take a blood test before the ba to make sure everythings fine and stuff?

Yh, i had a blood test to check wether or not i’m a sickler. Actually they ask you all sorts of questions and anything you are not sure of they do a test or something. I’m sure your worried about white and red blood cells counts and all but as long as your fit and healthy 2 weeks before op then you should be fine i guess.

hi parisa,my nurse did ask me if i wanted to hav a blood test bec i hav always suffered from iron deficiency.but i said no as i booked my ba exactly after a week,so it was all happening so quick and i did not want anything to go wrong and on the same hand i was feeling fit and healthy.
i would recommend u to hav a blood test if your are not sure about your health.its always good to be safe.

I didn’t have a blood test either, the nurse didn’t even mention it. Just had to answer medical questions about my health, etc. xx

thanks for ur info.ya think il have one done just to be sure. i have had some pills before to sort out my hormones and periods and stuff.heard if u have high estrogen there is a risk of blood clott.
