Gap in between breasts? Started by: Pinklady

This is something that doesn’t bother me too much as before my breasts wouldn’t go together anyway. I am 6 weeks post op so is there time for them to come a little closer together? Not really wanting the full on cleavage look though as never had it anyway due to size.
    Thanks ladies xx

I had a gap before and still have one now, pretty sure if you are wide chested pre op you still will be after x

There is plenty of time for them to come together hun 6 weeks is still SO early but as Nips said if you had a gap pre op then that might just be how your body is “designed” im not wide chested im very narrow chested and i had a gap pre op and i still have a gap now and im a year po, my gap is visable even with a bra on, it doesnt bother me too much but sometimes it bothers me a lot. It can be down to the positioning of the implant too, as im so narrow i wouldnt of thought id have a gap post op but i think high profile had something to do with my gap as well. If i have a re-op I will definitely try and change the positioning.

My doc said that as well Peeps but i am yet to find a bra strong enough to pull them together properly, even after a year there still really firm at the sides and underneath so finding something strong enough to pull inwards so they touch is impossible for me – oh well we win some we lose some ey!

I’m sorry to hear that flicky1, all my bras are padded to get them pushed together but if I wore a lace or non padded I have a gap, I had overs by the way, even tho I’m happy with the boobs I have now they look better in a bra x

Thanks ladies. I have a narrow chest so had to have the highest profile implant with the narrower base. They are under the muscle placement too. Could i add any of you ladies if you have a picture i could see?
    Thanks xx

If you had a gap before, you will have one after, having a lower profile implant will make them easier to push together in a bra afterwards (my mediums get a great cleavage in a boob job bra from Ann summers in a c cup, when I think I’m a ff again, still not measured)
But six weeks is still too early to even think about your final results and how they can and will look xx

I asked for a smaller gap and I know have a smaller gap, I’m narrow and had to have extra high profile, and they came together after 6 weeks x

I’m narrow (28 band size) but still have a sizeable gap, but my surgeon told me I had one before so I’d have one after. They definitely got softer and easier to squish together over time, and now I can get a cleavage if I wear a push-up that is slightly too small. It’s still not a proper kissing cleavage but oh well. Maybe I should have gone with moderate projection but I don’t think I could have because I’m so narrow, and also I really like the projection lol xx
