getting intimate after BA

im lucky!lol mr adamo says no sports bra! yay.lol mezza ur right, i think im gonna keep it toned down for a few weeks. i dont think my bf would mind, now that he has bigger boobies to play with.hehehe…..emma, congrats on ur boobies!!! i cant wait, mine is in a few days now, 5th aug…..i just want it over with now! 😐

May i just ask ladies, if you dont wear a sports bra, won’t your boobs sag?? Mr Adamo said to me also that I wouldn’t need a sports bra!

Also how long really, would you say to wait til you go abroad on holiday?? I have a little dilemma, I want to book my BA within the first week of September, but I have booked 2 weeks off as Holiday from work for the LAST 2 weeks of september as I wanted to go away for a week with my bf (as we haven’t done anything together all year- not even a day out!!) Should I wait to go away another time? or will 3 weeks between my BA and a holiday be okay???

ok so back to the pill….just had my ba yesterday and the anaesthetist told me that i can start taking the pill straight away but to use extra precautions for two weeks because of the antibiotics….just thought i let u know.

i went away exactli 3 and a half weeks after my BA and i was told i could wear a bikini as long as the scars were coverd. some days i wore a crop top/bra kinda thing (just from asda) and most days i wore a bikini top. my scars were coverd the whole time but i have noticed they have darkened slighty so be careful with the sunxx

i just bought a black and a white crop top from tescos today…..they only cost 3pound for 2 and are actually quite nice as far as crop tops go……they tesco value too……..lol

hi bec can you tell me where you got your little crop tops from only I am going to spain on the 1st sept and wont be above to wear a bikini top so thought crop tops would be better but can’t find any, also if any one else has gone away after 3.5 weeks after BA what did they wear all day on the beach? Thanks

back to the subject, i had sex just 3 days after my BA, it wasn’t full on porn star moves though…I had to be propped up on pillows and missionary position only as i couldnt move much!! My bf was too excited for the new boobies, although he couldnt touch them straight away!! As long as you take it slow and easy i think you’ll be ok. For the first couple of weeks it was just like that until i could lay differently! I havent wore a sports bra at all (Im in week 5 post op) but i bought these little crop tops which have been great as they are so soft and comfy, im not sure i’ll ever be as comfy in a bra again!!xx

I think the ” not wearing ”of a sports bra is a new thing with certain surgeons. Great if you dont have to wear one as its a real pain and they look awful. I think times are changing and maybe in a few years a sports bra will be a thing of the past with BA’s. However I beleive surgeons say dont wear one so that your boobs fall naturally in to place…however beleive me they do fall anyway after a year so why quicken the process??? (had 2 BA’s) I prefer pert boobs.

mr adamo prefers for us not to wear a sports bra so that the implants fall more easily and naturally for the final shape, but he did tell me if i feel uncomfortable at night that i can wear it but its upto the surgeons, every1 is different….ive bought one anyway just for nights, if im uncomfy….i have my ba on the 5th at highgate so i will let u know how it feels afterwards if that helps. x

I was also told that i wouldn’t have a wear a sports bra, unless i felt more comfortable wearing one.
Very confusing, as i had always read that you must wear one for 6 weeks?

Just wondered if anyone knows or has experienced yet how soon you can have sex after your BA as I have read so much on everything else but no one seems to mention this subject?

Mmmm …Its a difficult one!! No strenuous activity for 6 weeks. Depends how strenuous you are in the bedroom?? I don’t know how you ladies feel but the sports bra really does not give any sex appeal in the bedroom!!! I’m 8 weeks on from my 2nd BA and ALL is OK…back at the gym and back to doing gymnastics in the bedroom hehe. I must admit the first 2 weeks after BA I was in pain so the bedroom activity was pretty quiet:cry:
Once you get the sports bra off after 6 weeks its all systems gooooooooooooooooooohehe!!!! (unless you are one of the lucky ladies who has a BA by a surgeon who says not to wear a sports bra!!) xxx

apparently if you have sex it could make your scars split as the breast may swell surely someone must know exactly how long to wait

Yeh i’m on the pill. And yeh they say its less effective for 2 weeks. (you’re on them for a week) but it’s still less effective for a further week

I have heard its to abstain for 2 weeks well who wants to do that but obviously don’t want to do any damage (my BA is 7th Aug) hope some one can enlighten us
