So I’m planning on getting measured again soon, my first experience was frustrating to say the least. …..
Every shop only measured under my bust and said cup size is trial and error?!
I’ve been trying on 32 c/D and I had 300 unders from a small a cup. I’m 5 weeks po now so that would have changed.
My back measured at 28 at the consultations so small frame.
I just want to know what size I am?!
Anyone been measured and been told their full bra size? If so, where? X
Hey i went to get measured the other day and every shop measured me differently its so confusing:
Ann sumers – 32D
Bravissimo – 32E
John lewis 32DD/30E
Boob or bust (online) 28E/F
I still feel no further foresrd as to what size bras i should wear lol
Hey girls, just a little hint.
With bra sizes, if you have a bigger back the chances are the cup size goes down one.
So before I had the op I was a 32 a but I felt more comfortable in a 34 so this made the cup size a tiny bit too big.
The smaller the back the bigger the cup, the bigger the back the smaller the cup.
So sophy, where Ann summers have said your a 32 D but John Lewis have said a 30 E, this kind of links together what I said about the bigger cup the smaller the back and vice versa. And then 28 E you’ve gone down much smaller on the back hence the bigger cup size. I would always stick to the size back you are comfortable in. Remember when you do it with a tape measure its always different to actually wearing the garment, you don’t want it pinching anywhere or having that back fat hanging over lol.
Hope that makes some kind of sense! xxx
Thanks @anniemay ah yeah i know 32d and 30e are sister sizes i just cant secide which i should wear haha im so indecisive. The lady said the bras should always be fastened on the last hook, i always faster 32 on the first hook. I thought the 30 felt tight but then girls are saying its meant to feel tight for support and that i would get used to it. Ive always worn a 32 back and in the 30 back it just made me have more back fat, but i do think the cups sat better on the 30 back x
Yeah thats what i mean by the last hook leaving the other two visable haha i just say it the other way round x
Stupid question but what do u wear to get measured? I have a macom but obv if It compresses your boobs surly it’s not he best thing to be measured in? X
Try boob or bust girls, I think you’ll be more than pleasantly surprised! The band is meant to be the support so it should feel right but not uncomfortable. If it’s too tight the more than likely the cup is too small (you’ll have “back fat” and “armpit fat”) xx
@littlec87 when you get measured they just look at your boobs and guess what you would be, try that size bra on then go from there as to wether you need a bigger/smaller size. if they di actually measure you they only measure your band. I wore my macom when i had mine measured. You will be taking it off anyways x
Oh how strange i have read about measuring urself this way and if u are just getting te measured coz Ur bra feels a bit tight by obv after having a BA I have no bra that best fits me to wear im the first place lol, I measured myself using a couple of websites n im coming up a 36DD on one and a 38DD/E on another ive alwas worn a 34 band size, the tape measure reads 33.5inches…. Im only 10dpo though so got a while yet I just never got measured before I just wore wat felt and looked like it fitted best xx
