Hi girls, just a quick one from me.. I have my opp 3 weeks from today and I shall be buying all the things that I need on the big day in the next couple of days, so I need some recommendations on such things like sport bra, scar gels and stretch mark creams (just in case)
Also, on the day of the op, does it have to be macom? or as long as its comfortable and front fastening? One of my main worries is stretch marks 🙁 So, what are the chances in these? And would you be allowed to use cream to pretend these post opp? And just scar gels that actually work, because I know I will itch like mad and knowing me, I will probably scratch away (same thing happens with all of my tattoos)
Website, links or anything would be amazing!! 😀

Hope all my lovely ladies are healing well out there!! 😀 xx

With stretch marks its just a case of if your going to get them you will, no noe can tell. You could start by moisterising your boobs now in preparation, I did and so far I haven’t got any but I didn’t get any while I was pregnant either. You can’t use creams on your noons post op for a while though.
With regards to post op bras I have a Macon and I don’t think its very comfortable but its a compression bra so I don’t know how comfy they are meant to be. A lot of girls on here swear by the M&S one and some the Asda owned, I chose the Macon because you only have to buy your back size and the cup stretches to fit, I also brought a cheap on off EBay which works the same. heyy it doesnt have to be a macom for the day of your opp aslong as its a sports bra it doesnt matter if they fasten at the front or back aslong as your not lifting it over your head, those are a no go!…you cant use anything on your scar’s untill your nurse says other wise, (no idea whats good and whats not anyways lol) i got my sports bra’s from m&s the zip up ones that i find are really compfy (everyone is diff, some girls dont like them) stretch marks really depend on your skin how much it can stretch ect…hope this helps && good luck 🙂 xx
