    Hi ladies,

I’m so new to this but firstly just wanted to thank you all for being so open and kind in this forum. I’ve spent hours reading through everything.

I’ve always been very self conscious about my breasts as I barely fit a 32a. I’m very self conscious as to what other people think and never really explored the thought of BA as I thought it was a bit taboo. I’ve recently got married and my husband and I have spoken about it. He’s happy for me to get it but won’t give me much more input as he said it’s got to be my decision and as long as I’m happy and it’s going to give me confidence so that’s good.

Apart from that I’ve only told my BFF and she thinks it’s also a good idea. I have a very close relationship with my mum but don’t want to tell her as I think she would go mental. Has anyone else just got on with it without really telling anyone? After all I am doing it for myself.

I have my initial econsultation booked in for Thursday. What should I expect?

Is it unrealistic to think I can get this done within a few weeks? I’d be getting them done in Preston as it’s near home but I’m a teacher and would like to have some time before work starts again in September.

Sorry for the thousand of questions!

I had my econsultation last week and have a meeting with the surgeon on 28th august. I also work in schools and was hoping for the same but I can’t even get to see the surgeon for a consultation until end of august.

I will be having my surgery in Preston also so will probably be looking at either October half term or Xmas hols! X

That’s really useful! How did the econsult go? I keep getting emails about uploading photos but I’ve completed all the tasks and there wasn’t an option for that.

I’m also wondering about having children. We want to have one but not try for 12-1months at the earliest. I’m scared they will say to wait because I don’t really want to.

My econsult went ok. The 28th august was the first date they offered me to see surgeon or the next one was 25th September. They offered me Mr Traynor.

Let me know how your consultation goes.

My friend had hers done years ago and has had 4 children since and she was absolutely fine x

I will do! Wish I’d booked it for earlier this week as I just want to get going! Have you got an idea of what you want?

I’m thinking around 300 mark depending on what they can do as I’m small. I haven’t got a clue in terms of overs and unders 🙈 I just want them to say this is what u need and just do it 😂😂

    What about you? X

Same! I’m thinking around the 300c hp round so they keep longer

Hey! I told nobody, not even my boyfriend until the day of my first consultation. I wanted it to be my decision, I didn’t want anyone else to give me their input or opinion. (My boyfriend was ecstatic of course😅)

Other than him, I didn’t tell anyone at all. 2/3 days before, I told close friends and my mum etc. Only after surgery I told others! I’m only 2 weeks post op now.

Similar to you, I just didn’t want anyone else’s opinion. I thought my mum would go mental too but she said ‘good on you!’ Which shocked me! People will be absolutely fine 😊

Also, if you’d rather not tell people then get it done during the school hols and you’ll be ok for going back to work, even October hols if now is too late. Nobody will even notice! It won’t be as noticeable as you fear. 😘

Thanks Amy it’s really reassuring especially hearing from someone who has already been through it. How are you recovering? Do you think 10 days would be enough time off to recover? I can fully imagine the surgeon telling me it will have to go under the muscle as there’s not much there atm. I’d ideally like to get it done ASAP but I think getting it done now before going back in September is probably not going to be achievable so will more than likely have to go for October.

10:30! Can’t wait 😁 I also bit the bullet and told my mum this morning and she was so supportive which just confirms that I want to go through with it.

Omg! I’m meeting Mr Traynor on Tuesday and my surgery is going to be either 25th or 26th. So so fast. The nerves have well and truly kicked in. Especially as I’m worried about going back to school on 1st September. I had the option to wait and do October half term but even then it’s only a week off so I thought I might as well get it done now.

That’s great! I had asked to see him sooner and they offered me those dates but I can’t get to Manchester on Tuesday as I am away. I have some pictures of his before and after a if you would like me to send you them x

What are you having Natasha, I would push for 25th September as the more recovery time the better! Especially if you are having unders. I’m a teacher too and honestly I’d have really struggled to go back in the first week!

Not gonna lie girls my first 3 days were pretty brutal, but I had large implants under the muscle and had quite a bit of chest muscle so I was in a lot of pain. Just full on rest as much as you can, and keep on top of your meds and I’m sure you’ll be okay!

So glad to hear your mum was supportive Natasha! 🤗

I’m not sure yet Amy as I don’t meet the surgeon until Tuesday. I’m hoping he’s going to let me go around 350cc unders hp but will just have to wait and see. What did you get?

I’ve booked the 25th so it will give me exactly a week until I have to start back at school. I know I’ll be super tired and still unable to move much but I don’t plan on telling my school. To make it even more stressful for myself I’m starting at a new school too so would rather get it done before anyone can notice the difference

Hi ladies I’m hoping to book my consultation with Dr Traynor I’ve heard some amazing things about him I would be really great full if you could comment how it went. I was hoping to book a consultation after the school holidays and I was wondering how long it would be for my surgery as I would like it done towards the end of the year.
It’s really nice to hear people’s experiences and wish you all the luck for the surgery x

    Hey Gemma,

I’m going to meet him with an open mind – I really wanted Mr Mounir but he wasn’t available due to his holidays etc. I haven’t found much of his work, read lots of good reviews but not been able to see much. Have you?

To be honest I’ve found the whole process SO fast. I literally woke up on the morning of 1st Aug decided I wanted boobs, had econsult on 5th, meeting the surgeon on 10th and I’m getting the op 25th. So basically all within 25 days!!

Have you had your e consultation yet? I told the pc that I wanted to get the ball moving and as long as I paid the deposit I could secure my surgery date there and then as I wanted a specific date.

Hopefully this helps, any questions just let me know 😊 x

    Hi Natasha
Wow that is fast. That’s good to know tho as I have time off at the end of the year and so wanted to work round that really. I’m going to book my consultation ASAP just difficult to book one as the kids at home. I might see if they do late evening appointments?
My friend is also having surgery and she knows 3 people who have had Dr Traynor and have been really impressed with his work.
It’s all very confusing re sizing so I’m hoping will all become clearer what size would be best for me on the consultation.
Thankyou for getting back to me xx

Yeah it can be quite addictive! 😂 I started on the forums thinking I wanted 270cc and now I’m wanting 350cc – needing to stop before I’ve got watermelons 🙈

Sorry to seem random! Just for reference, in case it helps, I had over the muscle the implants and didn’t feel back to normal (ish) until at least day 10. You’ll need to take things super slow for the first week-10 days and things get better from there, two weeks after you feel much much better xx

Thanks Becks. I’ve got no choice but to go back to work after a week. It would be the same if I waited until the October half term so figured I might as well just bite the bullet and get it done now before starting at a new school and no one will notice a difference xx

I had 545cc high profile teardrop unders! Definitely make sure you get as much rest as possible and take it super easy when you are back to work. Hopefully your recovery will be better than mine as it was a tough first 2 weeks for me and the first 3 days were especially hard. Feeling much better now though. But – some people have no issues at all for their recovery so hopefully you are one of those people 🥰 x
