Girls with unders – hard at top/soft on bottom?

Hi,
I wasn’t sure whether to ask or not, because I don’t want to worry myself unnecessarily…but…
I’ve got unders (only 2 weeks post op) and the tops of my boobs are really hard but the bottom is soft. I’ve now freaked myself out and started panicking that I will have double boob! My PC said it sounds normal and to speak to the nurse if I am really concerned but I just wanted to see if any of you have the same?
Is this normal?

I’m 4wks post op and have 300cc partials – mine are soft at the top and hard at the bottom, plus the left is slightly rounder than the right? So freaking myself out a little too ☺️. Wait until your 6wk check-up that’s what I’m doing as they’re still changing/settling down x

Thanks @shel82 Shelley, yeah you’re right. It’s kinda pointless worrying at this stage isn’t it?
I know, I just need to be patient (easier said than done though!)

Also, there have been so many negative posts on here recently about how terrible MYA and their PC’s are, I’m sorry to hear that some of you are having terrible service, but just for the record, I text my PC this morning and she replied in less than 5 minutes! They’re not all terrible!

Hi jo, mine are also soft at the bottom and hard at the top- I was worried too. Hoping it’s just where they are dropping into place! X

I imagine it’s because the bulk of muscle mass will be at the top and middle of the breast, if you’re feeling upwards from underneath your boob you’re more likely to be feeling the implant itself which is soft compared to your muscle at this stage x

How many weeks post op are you?
I’ve cranked my breast band up so it is pretty tight to try to encourage the implant to drop. I think I had been wearing it too loosely.
I have sensation from my nipple upwards but from my nipple down to the incision it is numb, is/was yours similar?

I am 3 weeks post op today. I was allowed to take my band off last week thank goodness.
They dropped a lot more this week from the first two weeks. I will try to attach a pic.

Below my nipple is numb too including my nipple 🙁 above is fine too! Think you will notice a difference next week! X

I had mine done yesterday and mine are also hard on the top and soft underneath but I got told it was because the muscle is hard and the implant goes lower than the muscle so that bit feels softer so I don’t think you need to worry 🙂 also this is really random but my boobs seem really big and round on the top and quiet flat underneath, will the implants drop lower to make the underneath bit seem bigger or will they always be like this?! Feel like my nipples are really low and I hope they don’t stay like that!! ? xxx

I had partials and nine are hard on top and soft underneath completely normal I would have thought as its the implant you’ll be feeling if it’s just above the incisions! I’m 3 weeks post op on Friday and was just wondering if any one still had swelling/fluid build up this late on? My left is absolutely great it’s round painless and has all sensation however my right is bigger oddly shaped and hurts I can feel swelling or fluid around the top near my armpit if that makes sense and around the far side it’s making me frustrated because they’re too completely different sizes

Lhea – Congratulations on new boobies! Yeah mine were like that too. They were a really strange shape to begin with. They will change and settle I’m sure. 🙂 Happy healing!

Faye – Thanks. I don’t know about the fluid, but one of mine is defo settling quicker than the other, so maybe one of yours is just taking a little longer too? If you are concerned perhaps speak to your PC?
