Glass of wine after surgery??

I’m don’t want to go out of the town, far from. But I wouldn’t mind a glass of red at home. How soon after surgery can I have a glass? Xxxx

I had one after a week, and by day 10 was out on the raz! A glass won’t hurt, it’s medicinal! x

Haha. That’s what I thought babe. I’m only sat here on the sofa but surgery was only Tuesday. I’ll wait till sat then. Cheers babe xx

I drank 2 glasses of champers the nit I got home and a glass of red every night on since op. it’s just incase you get hammered and your blood goes thinner that can lead to easier bleeding. Trust me a glass of red will not do any harm. Celebrate and enjoy honey!

Thank god! I’m gonna pour one now babe. Thank you. I only want a few glasses plus it might help me sleep better. My op was on tues and last night wasn’t the best nights kip so a nice glass might do the trick. I’ve got no pain but my chest is quite tight, is that normal?? Xxxx

Absolutely. I had very little pain in the first week. Bit thingy now but think that’s because the feeling is coming back. Go and enjoy your wine. I went for my 1 week check up and they said they have healed perfectly. I told them next time someone starts stressing over drinking and smoking tell them not to worry! Decent sleep will actually help the healing process so look at it as medicinal!

Cheers Hun. That’s great then, thought it was normal but I’m paranoid about getting CC. Will the wine affect my antibiotics though?? I hope I heal quickly too. Bet you were chuffed. My incisions feel itchy so I’m hoping they’re healing well. Xxx

Check antibiotics and alcohol online but mine were fine. Itching already is good!
