Hi girls, I’ve got my op on a Friday and I’ve booked the next week off, so I’ll be going back the following Monday. Including the weekends that’s 9 days off. I’m having unders. From reading lots on here, I don’t know if that’s going to be enough time? What are your experiences girls? I work in an office x

I Leanne, I had my op on a Friday so had the same time off, 1 full working week.
however I had the first Monday and Tuesday off sick, I literally wasn’t ready to go back, those couple of extra days really helped as well. I have overs….
if you have any extra holiday left id consider booking it, and then if you do feel okay you could always cancel the extra days?xxx

Hi hun i had unders last tue.. Nearly a week old haha.. And i felt terrible first few days i had took 2 wks off. so not due back until nxt monday i onky work as a reciopnist.and i stopped all my painkillers sat was only taking paracetamol. Only had 2 yesterday and had none today im doing most things just at a slower pace. Im glad i took 2 wks off as i no i will be fine by then. First few days were awful. Everyone is different but i would say 2 wks just so you have plenty of time to pull yourself around.. Goodluck its amazing experience iv loved it and now have boobies lol xxx

Hey Leanne, I also work in an office and was back at work after two days. But I did have overs so not sure if that made a difference. But I’m sure 9 days will be enough for you.

Wow 2 days Sandra – that’s impressive. Ok that’s put my mind at rest and my manager is pretty nice so I’m sure he’d let me book more off if I need it 🙂 xx
