gp/doctor

just spoke to my doctor on the phone as i was worried about being refused and wanted to see if she had any concerns about my weight and my past and she said she has no problems with everything. all shes going to write on the letter is about what mya have asked for and shes said to me it’s not like its surgery for fat removal or anything, it’s not going to affect my weight having a BA so she will leave it down to mya to make the decision from her letter (once she receives one as she hasn’t heard from them yet).

does this mean mya can refuse me or is it literally only if mya receive a letter from your doctor refusing?? i’m really really confused!

as far as i’m aware it’s only if the doctor refuses you xx

oh fair enough! was just so confused about it when she said I’ll leave the decision to them… I was like what?! made me think if they can refuse me not just my doctor xx

Hey huni I told you would bk ok to have your BA as your healthy so don’t worry about it if they can op on ppl with BIM over eight there’s no problems with you there not going to knock u bk x

Don’t worry about it huni as your GP has given u the go head I got my self in to a mess as my iron use to be low and 1week b4 my op they said they couldn’t do my op I was so worried but lucky for me my iron had come bk up just chill out u talked to your GP and it’s all good xxx

@ayeshamush78 yeh she’s told me she doesn’t have a problem with it on the phone to me as I was getting myself in a mess since my pre op about it so wanted to reassure myself, still not 100% happy, but will be when she sends a letter back to the clinic 🙂 xxx
