Guarantee/After care

Hi hope someone can help :rolling:

Just wondering how long the Guarrante with MYA is after the operation of breast implants? I’ve seen the implants used have a life time guarantee, so just curious how long the MYA guarantee’s you for? i.e If anything was to go terribly wrong say two years after the op and also if the operation didn’t go according to plan.

Also is it true that you have to have an implant replacement every 10 years?

i think its 5years but not 100%

Sunshine ~ I’m almost positive it’s 10 years, definatley not 5. It all really depends on how old you are when you have them done, and with that how much your body changes. x

i was told by my rep that it was 10-15yrs lifetime of the implant, but thats not to say they wont last longer…allergen have to put a ‘sell-by’ date on them . You are covered for the first 5 years with mya if capsular contraction occurs, they will pay for replacement implants, surgery and hospital fees. hope this helps xx
