Surgery on the 7th and starting to worry about recovery, to the point I’m considering rescheduling for next year. I have 5 kids 3 older and 2 under 3 my nearly 2 year old is soooo clingy at the minute and I don’t know how I’ll manage! Had anyone else rescheduled and found it easier when they older?

    Hey hun
Are you ok? Have you made a decision? I’m post op (5 days) I had under the muscle. If I’m honest I thought the pain would be really bad. Not going to lie the first 2 days was painful but I stopped pain killers on the second day and I can do most things. I can lift my arms up above my head, etc.

I don’t have kids as young as you. But I am a single mum and my 7 year old is very dependent on me and demanding and I have a VERY lazy 11 year old. But I’ve just got on with it and tried not to think to much.
(And I didn’t know they was bloody breaking up for 2 weeks for Easter holidays 😩😂)

My advice would be to get it over and done with. You might not struggle at all. But at the same time you know what is best for you and your little family.

I do wish you all the best and please keep me updated.

    Good luck babes xx

    Hey hun,
I heard so many stories about it being painful. So I was a little 😬 And yes it was the first couple of days. But now it’s getting a lot better. I’m glad your going ahead with it. It’s best to get it over with and once your all healed you’ll be glad. Not long until the 7th. What size are you getting? I’m waiting on the “drop and fluff” I’m so impatient 😂 I keep checking them. Are you getting them done with Mya? xx

I know it’s just the build up I think. I’m not nervous for the actual operation more for recovery! I’m just going to get it done and deal with whatever comes. I’m getting 350 round hp unders. Literally got nothing now, im excited to see what they guna look like. What size did you get? Xx

I totally get why you are. It’s a struggle in general with kids as it is. But with everything in life there is always a way. You’ll do it babes 🙏 I was worried about the operation being on my own. But it went so fast in and out. So I worried for nothing. They will look amazing! I went for teardrop unders 375cc. I wasn’t happy when I first saw them as they looked small but very slowly they are looking bigger 😂 Only thing I’m struggling with is the not being able to exercise, soak in the bath and sleeping on my back (tummy sleeper) But honestly I’m sat here 5 days op and no pain. So I hope you will be the same. You’ll have to let me know how you get on with everything, babes xx

I know I’ve been looking at loads of drop and fluff photos and feel a bit better. The pain has been unreal today I haven’t done anything. Swelling is ridiculous which I think is what is making the pain worse. Had me mam here helping with the little ones so been in bed resting most of the day, same as you I usually sleep on my tummy so this has been a shock 😂 now your bandages are off can you shower or not? When can you bath?

Aww bless! Day 1 to 3 was a KILLER I couldn’t even get dressed. I had my niece stay and help me. But it soon goes! Have you got “bloat” from the GA? I’ve still got a little pouch. The nurse said it will go. She said I can shower now my bandages are off. But not soaking in the bath until I go back and see them. Yes! the sleeping is a KILLER 😂 BUT today on the sofa I could lay on my side watching TV 🙏 So it won’t be long until you do. Are you glad you went ahead now? xx

I am bloated but not usual uncomfortable bloat thankfully! I’ve wokr up this morning and the left has completely relaxed no pain at all! The right is extremely tight and painful but hopefully it’s just a day behind the left. Stopped the codeine and paracetamol only. I’m pleased I did it definitely xx

Hey ladies! Hope you’re all recovering beautifully and loving your new twins!! I’m a mama of a nearly two year old who I pick up a lot / still sleeps in an cot / needs lifting in and out of car seat and pram. I’ve got SO MUCH GUILT – there’s no way I won’t be able to pick him up for six weeks. How was it for you? Will I even be able to push a pram? X

Hi ladies, this has also been one of my worries. I’ve got a 3 year old and a 15 month old who needs/wants to be picked up.
