Gutted about scars

Don’t know what’s going on but my scars look nowhere near as good as others I’ve seen on here who are less weeks post op than me! Mine are still really red and don’t seem thin. I feel like when I go for my 6 week check next Friday the nurse is gonna say there not healed but I’ve no scabs or anything left there just absolutely revolting. I’ve uploaded a pic even tho I really didn’t want to cuz I’m so upset. My mum says they will change cause I’m so early on but I’ve never had surgery before so had no idea what they would look like. But surely they shouldn’t look like this :'( will they change or are they stuck bright red forever? 🙁

Hun thats only part of the healing process, your acars still look fresh and need time to heal. Some people heal faster than others depending on their skin type, age, their diet etc. It doesnt mean yours wont change and fade, just give it more time and hopefully they will fade and disappear in the coming weeks. They are neat scars though and your results are fab 😉 you must be happy 🙂 xx

Thank you for replying Hun 🙂 i hope so, everybody else’s on here looks fab and have practically no scar and then mine are just like that 🙁 my boobs I’m soo happy with and I’ve tried to ignore my scars but can’t stop looking at them the past day or so. I don’t know if my sports bra is making it worse or what. Just feeling a bit down about it I think. And I’m dying for a nice soak in the bath and I know I’m not going to pass my 6 week check at all 🙁 not good at all. Oh well xxx

Dont mention it 🙂 I could imagine how you are feeling now.. My op is in 2 weeks exactly from today and Im feeling nervous already. Try not to look at them, think positive and smile! You have boobies that you love and the scars will fade. Also in a week a lot can change and they should heal more. I’ve seen pics of girls with the same scars as you couple of weeks post op, dont let it bother you anyway, as long as you love your boobies, your scars should heal comfortably at their own pace 😉 xx
