I’m still pre op so can not speak from experience but my plan is to start with non weighted exercises and then work up from .5kg to find my limit again like I am just starting out weight lifting again. My research suggests that at six weeks, non weighted squats, lunges and cardio machines should be fine, just don’t over do it. Obviously take it easy, use common sense and if anything feels wrong, it is probably wrong. Hopefully someone who has been through a BA and gone back to training can let us know from experience x
After 5 weeks I went back to gym and done cardio, then after 6 weeks went back to weights. Just listen to your body and start off with lighter weights than normal. I’m still not up to my normal weight for things like shoulders and chest and I’m 3 months post op.
