Had my BA yesterday!! My story so far………

ok….ive read so many storys on here and they help so much when u know what to expect from ppl that have actualy experianced the whole thing so thought id try and do mine i only had my BA at 3oclock yesterday afternoon!
so….
i got up at 5am and had some toast and water, i had to get my son ready to go to my mums and i was a nervous wreck!! i turned up at Highgate Hospital (which just looks like a big house!!) at 10.30 and was shown straight to my room with en suite and flat screen telle….my mum had something to eat at this point right infront of me and i was starving!! i think the not eating bit was the hardest bit of the whole experiance (well upto this point anyway….) the anesthatist came to see me as well as a nurse who done my obs….then Mr Adamo came in and drew all over my boobs (once hed gone me and my mum took loadsa pics! they will be interesting to see in a few years! lol) i was waiting what felt like a very long time but eventually at 2:45pm they came and got me and i walked down to the theatre…..being put to sleep feels good…i had a massive smile on my face and they were laughing at how excited i looked! i didnt even notice the needle in my arm it really doesnt hurt! next thing i know i was waking up in recovery at 4pm and the very 1st thing i did was touch them gently obviously but i felt no pain at all due to the morphene and that was it me all done NEW BOOBIES!!! i was taking back to my mum who was waiting in my room and within ten minutes i was up and on the toilet….i drifted in and out of sleep for the next few hours then i was back up at 7 dressed make up and asking to go home….i walked up to the desk and they mistook me for a visitor i really didnt look like i just had an operation! i felt so good, really unexpected, i got let home at 8 and even the journey home didnt hurt! i see what you all mean when you say looking back there was nothing to be nervous about! i went to mcdonalds!! lol then my sister stayed with me the night i sat on facebook most of the night where id slept so much couldnt sleep but i managed to get a few hours with my v shape pillow which makes you so comfy! so now im less than 24 hours post op and i cant stop admiring my gorgeous new boobs! cant believe they are mine….no pain as yet really just more uncomfortable….id describe as like when i was breastfeeding my son and they were full of milk (u know when u get to the point where they have to have some and relieve u coz feels like they gonna burst!) they very hard and high but i love love love them! and Mr Adamo is my new hero seriously he was amazing and i wish i could actually put into words how so brilliant everybody at highgate was….all in all a fantastic experiance, got fantastic new boobs! i had 380 over and i was a b now wearing dd sports bra (although i dont have to wear it mr adamo said) anyway ive gone on and on enough, please feel free to ask me anything and i look forward to reading everyones other stories! i dont think ive stopped smiling still!!! cant wait to go bra shopping now!!! i already feel like a new person! xxxx !!! :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

Thanks Bex……yes its exciting, just dont waste time being nervous before hand there is no point, im still in shock how its not such a big deal!? i made myself feel sick with nerves and i havent stopped smiling yet! im SO SO pleased with them!!

Leanne: they feel very very hard and high at the minute i have no bandages just a plaster on each cut….i wouldnt say sore at the minute i just feel very aware of them…if that makes sense. last night i slept on my back with a v shape pillow propping me up and i slept all night fine! it is a bit uncomfortable but seriously they are gorgeous! its soo worth it! wish id done it years ago! lol ask as many questions as u like this forum was so helpful for me its nice to be able to do the same for other ppl! although ive been told its the 3rd and 4th days that hurt the most and i only got them yesterday but i will keep u posted! the most painful bit so far was telling my uncle who wants to kill me now! lol il just dodge him for a while! hee hee!! when you having yours done?? i was a day case aswell so i didnt have to stay over nite? have you been on the discount site thing?? it gets u 500pound off!!! xx

I’m glad you’re happy with them too and I’m glad I haven’t read anything negative!!! It’s a big thing but yeah, I’m wishing now I’d arranged to have mine done years ago. I’ve always wanted them and even though most of my friends and family don’t agree, I’ve decided to just go for it and I really can’t wait!!

I had mine done on Monday and also had 380cc overs. I feel slightly uncomfortable but not in pain and I absolutly love them cant wait to be able to try on bikinis etc

Im trying to take it easy this week and not do much. How are you finding your mobility? Are you able to use your arms alot?

It was really lovely to ready your story, and my day cant come quick enough its all i think about!! Im booked in with Mr Adamo at Highgate on the 2nd Sept. Im having 460cc. I wanted to ask how you are finding looking after your son? Ive got 2 children, my son has just turned 2 and ive got a little girl who has just turned 1. I am worried about looking after them, as i will need to lift them into the bath, the highchair, the cot etc.. My Mom and my husband both work for themselves so work long hours and cant afford to have the time off with me. So i will just be left to sort of get on with it. Just wondered how your getting on with it?xx

Wow Jamie!! You’ve made me even more excited now!!! (if that’s possible lol!) I am so happy to hear about your lovely story!! I am having 380cc overs too, starting at a B cup also! Thank you for sharing your story ) cannot wait now!!!!! I have ages to wait though ( mine’s not until the 16th Sept!! I just want to get them over and done with, so they will be healed sooner!!!! lol

Im having 380 overs on Nov 10th. Im a c cup but my surgeon couldnt give me a size. Im guessing a dd tho. I have an 8 mth old baby so am worrid how I wil cope with lifting. Any advice?
