Hi ladies,
Before my op I have tried to stay off of forum as some posts were making me so nervous but so many posts have really helped me so hopefully I can too!
Had my BA yesterday morning with Ms Lutz and all I can say what a easy experience I had. Arrived at Fitzroy at 730am and then by 8 was upstairs getting ready and having stats read, really couldn’t do a wee for pregnancy test to begin with, hate being under pressure to wee lol just wasn’t happening! But hen by quarter to 9 I had. After that Ms lutz came in and drew on me, was very blazay about what was about to happen but this kind of put me at ease. Then at 20 past 9 I was taken down to theatre and the staff were so lovely I led there and was injected then mask over my face then was gone!
Woke up in recovery at half past 10 and was back in my room for quarter past 11 when my friend was called back into the room.
I must admit when I woke up the tightness I found quite something so once back at the room I was given some liquid morphine which worked wonders. No sickness after and to be honest I felt really good from then on. I had no drains and just wearing a bra so no strapping Was given med and discharged by 530pm and had 2 min walk to hotel and literally felt like my chest was going to just fall off lol, very strange feeling.
In hotel now and awake at 2am because I’ve set alarms to take meds to keep on top and must admit I’m feeling discomfort and very mild pain but bareable! I changed into my 36dd post op bra instead of the 36d she put on and feels so much better as other only felt like it was keeeping 1 boob supported.
I have aamttached photos. Had 375cc high profile overs and at the moment the are up by my chin and very swollen! Hoping the arnica tablets help with this.
Anyway ladies please don’t be nervous if you are due BA I am the most anxious person when it comes to things like this but really was nothing to be nervous about, just be prepared to feel very tight and in discomfort and also to do a lot of bum shuffling when getting up haha! Hope this helps xx
