Hair extensions

Hi havin my op 17th aug in preston has any1 had to have their extensions removed do they actually check x

What kind of hair extensions have you got in? Anything with metal has to be removed for surgery x

Micto rings they are copper do they check? X

They didn’t check me but I had pre-bonded in which was fine. They say to take them out as the metal could burn your head during the operation or something along they lines, kirbys have to removed, no bobbles with metal or anything either

Ok thanks do they ask if have extensions in? I dunno if to risk it x

I would ask your surgeon seeing as he will be the one operating and he might say you don’t need to, mines didn’t make me stop taking the pill. It’s just a risk as the metal can conduct electricity and with it being your head lol x

@nwallace unrelated but I’m having mine on 17th August in Preston too ? feels like ages away, my pre op was supposed to be tomorrow but they had to cancel so it’s not til 20th July now!

I had my pre op today was only in 10mins hopefully see u on 17th then x
