hair extensions during surgery?

i have glue-in hair extensions that last for 6 months, i was wondering if these would have to be removed before surgery? i read in my info pack that my piercings, fake eyelashes/nails etc would have to come off but there was no mention of hair extensions.. i thought they would be okay seeing as they’d be tied up but now im not sure.. does anyone know if i’d have to take them out beforehand? x

I have micro rings, and was allowed to keep them in, even though they have metal in them. Glue in are fine, so tie your hair up or back 🙂 xx
