So bit of a random question, but I wanted to wash my hair before my op just incase it was too uncomfortable for me to wash it in the first few days after. Can you use your normal shampoo? Can I do it the morning of my op or does it have to be 24 hrs or something before? Thanks girls xxx
I did mine last night and had my op today! I was told I could have a shower this morning but not put deodorant on after! Sure shampoo will be fine but maybe double check just in case!
Thanks babe, think I might wash it night before. I’ve googled but on most sites it says night before can wash with normal shampoo. How are you feeling?? Which hospital were you at xxx
Ahh yeah I had to get there at 7am so night before chilled me out ha! I didn’t have it done at MYA but from what I’ve heard it’s all very similar! I feel fine now just finding it hard to get up and down which is annoying! But the fact I’ve had an op today it’s made how well I feel! All strapped up so hard to see what they properly look like but so nice to have boobies ha! What size you having?! Xx
I have almost a pixie cut hun, I washed mine on morning of op be just made sure to wash my body, neck and face with the antibacterial wash after I did my hair. They don’t even ask you when your at the hospital and when I woke up after op I was covered in iodine so they wash you down anyways. I wouldnt worry too much xxx
I’m alright thanks lovely. Incisions feel pretty tight today but I’m guessing that’s normal. Just been keeping up with pain meds, drinking plenty of water and resting. Bet you can’t wait to have it all over and done with now xxx
You know what im so nervous i almost wanted to cancel ! haha i wouldnt dare really ive wanted this for so long. Just rushing round today trying to get on top of my washing tidying up etc. Did u feel nervous before? xxx
