Hi girls, I’m done and dusted at last! 🙂 Had my BA yesterday evening after a long day of waiting. Was terrified for anaesthetic but it really was fine. The painkillers they gave me after made me extremely drowsy, wasn’t a fan of those so I’ve stopped taking them and just sticking to paracetamol. I’m very sore and uncomfortable especially with any kind of movement and I’ve had little or no sleep but trying to stay positive, hopefully it’ll ease soon. I had 225cc partials from a 32aa (maybe that’s why I’m so sore, it must be a lot for my tiny frame to cope with). I’m in Dublin and had the surgery here, not with mya. It’s been very difficult to find any info on real life experiences from Irish girls, it’s still kept very hush hush over here so this forum has been such a blessing for information and reassurance. Thank you all, don’t think I would’ve went ahead with it without your posts, it made me feel I wasn’t alone! I haven’t looked at them yet but will post pics when I can. Good luck to everyone going in today, happy healing to all xxxx
Hi @sinead89 Of course not, ive added you now 🙂 You will be fine with anaesthetic, you won’t remember anything except waking up with new boobs! I’m very sore and uncomfortable today but I think it’s because I haven’t moved around enough. I’m staying in hospital 2 nights so at least I’m being well looked after. I’d highly recommend getting one of those travel pillows for around the neck, it’s the only way I’m managing to get some sleep! Best of luck with your op, it’ll come around so quickly. Are you all prepared? What size are you getting? xx
Heya I’m 3 days po and the pain is so frustrating, I’m uncomfortable I’m itchy and I have back ache, if you were given cocodamol with you antibiotics I would honestly say just try and take them, I was loving them they were making me drowsy which is a godsend when your in pain, and they would just take the pain away, but yesterday had a funny turn off one I didn’t have much to eat before my cocodamol and I felt so sick and weird so I decided to take ibrupofen and paracetamol instead of them but today I’m in so much discomfort Iv got back to cocodamol they make things so much better xxxx
Hi @jessicakeyx yes it’s so frustrating! Earlier today the pain went completely in my left boob but right one is causing me agony. When I sit completely still it’s bearable but moving around is so tough and makes me short of breath. Trying to sleep as much as I can! I’m just taking solpadeine for the pain, anything stronger was making me feel really ill. Are you able to eat ok? I have no appetite. At least we have the worst days nearly over with, hope you feel better soon xx
@annmarie , had my op yesterday. 400cc partial. Very sore, heavy and tight. Was very sick after my surgery. But I m fine now it’s just pain nd soreness. I m going to carry on taking my pain killer nd antibiotics. Should use ice beg to help with swelling. Can u please add me xx.
Had mine just over a week ago and have NO pain for the last few days still just a little tight! Don’t worry guys you’ll soon be through the worst! Just keep taking the painkillers when you can and if you haven’t got a big v shaped pillow I’d highly recommend one only way I can sleep atm! I had just over 400cc too @riya85 can I ask what size you were before and what you are hoping to be after? X x
Hi @annie1016 thanks for the words of encouragement! I have v shaped pillow and travel neck pillow so I’m quite comfy when sleeping. Standing up and moving is agony though, can’t wait for that to pass x
? this isn’t making me so excited. I e booked my surgery for 15th Dec but have a four month old and a 2 year old. To be bed bound and keeping still isn’t going to work for me and I’m having unders! Let’s hope those painkillers are strong stuff!! Xxx
Hi all I had mine yesterday felt so good relaxed all night but since going to bed the pain is quite bad at the minute all in my left side of nipple I had 275cc Hp unders so hoping the pain will ease taking ibrofen and paracetamol my chest just feels so tight my surgeon put strapping round to keep them in place so fingers crossed when that’s removed hopefully pain will get better roll on Thursday xxxxxxxx
