Taken an actual MYA sick note to their GP to use it to get a doctors note?
My op is the 1st Feb and the earliest I could get a GP appointment is 3 days before! I am hoping that I can take the sickness note in as proof of surgery and get the doctor to write me a note.
As I work in a village school it’s such a tight knit circle and if I go handing in a letter with MYA PLASTERED ALL OVER it I know everyone will rumble me straight away. It’s a very personal matter and private so I want no one to know….these are the words I’m going to say to my GP but…. I wondered has anyone done this? Or did you have the same issue with having to take time off work but wanting to keep it private? What did you do?
