Has anyone had a BA with wide set breast and its brought them closer together)

I’m hoping to bring my breast closer together with overs as I have a few inch gap. Has anyone got wide set breast that have come closer together?

Hey I had quite a big gap I could for my hand between my boobs…

But depending on if u have overs (more likely to achieve cleavage) or unders (least likely to achieve natural close cleavage but mod plus can close the gap down becasue they’re wider than Hp) and that sometimes is an open choice for you to make ans sometimes ur surgeon will specify if u have to have overs or unders and for what reason.

My surgeon gave me mod plus to lessen the gap and I had unders which are held down by ur chest muscle and only allow ur boobs to move so far together. For example hen I have a crop top on I can get an amazing cleavage but when I go braless I have a slight gap.

It did bother me to start but as time has gone by (I’m 6 months post in June) the gap has gotten even smaller. Plus the gap is a lot smaller than how it was pre op. I’ll add u so u can have a look at my full profile and pics if tht helps! Fxx

I had a big gap, i still have a big gap, i have a chest wall difference and my bone is very wide so mod plus was not an option for me, and with little breast tissue i needed unders, i had hoped it would close but at least it hasn’t gotten worse, once my implants have fully dropped and softened i should be able to make a cleavage again with a bra 🙂

@giraffequeen urs look great and ur gap will get smaller honestly I was in similar position but I didn’t concern myself too much because I was just happy to have boobs! They change so much I’m nearly six months post op. I just make sure to sleep every night with my crop top and I wear a wired bra five days a week to work. Fxx

Thankyou Fran, thanks for the advice, im 9 wks post op now wearing crop top for bed but still cant get into an underwired bra (had another fitting yesterday, my 3rd) and my boobs are still sticking out at the top of all shaped bras but leaving a gap at the sides, like trying to put a bra on a manequin so im just in an M&S soft cup during the day, they have started to soften in the last 2 weeks though my muscles must just be hanging on for dear life, i was quite concerned about it until i had seen my surgeon but he put my mind at rest, holiday in 6 weeks so bought a few boob tube type bikinis but hoping to get into a cup by then, i had no idea i had a chest wall difference until my consultation xxx

I have mod plus implants that have a wider base so they really closed my gap up in between! xx

@giraffequeen if u are quite active then that can happen as the muscle needs to be quite relaxed. I stopped goin to the gym and doing yoga months before my op because I knew it would keep my muscles tight. I didn’t get measured properly til wk 7/8 as I had one that dropped a little more. My surgeon and nurse advised not to get fitted while they were so high up and my surgeon showed me how to massage my breasts to help drop one a bit more. For a week I slept with my breast band to help lower the boob as my surgeon said ir wouldn’t be any harm to do so. I still sleep with my crop top at night and find it comforting if anything. The idea freaked me out pre op but it’s doing more good than harm and helps squish them together more I feel anyhow.

I’m sure by the time ur holiday comes they will have settled ur taking all the right steps so far. I am going away in August but have only non wired bikinis myself but I may get one wired for support. Fxx

Ur welcome hun try not to stress I know it’s hard. If u can’t see ur surgeon put questions u may have into realself.com and see responses other surgeons have given women in regards to their ba.

Joe i have seen a few great results on this forum from girls who have been wishing to close a gap and had mod plus implants, hopefuly that will be an option for you, have you had any consultations yet? I had one with another company years ago and they never mentioned it to me, i suppose it makes sense now that my breast bone is wide because im tiny framed but have a 34 back, lots of size 6-8 girls are from 28-32 back, good luck with your research and results xxx

@CLAUDINE Yes, I’ve had the initial one and the one with the surgeon yesterday and he said I could have both over and unders but it was a bit unclear if it will get rid of the gap as much as I would like. I’ve got a surgery date for the 4th September so I have another visit to see him a few weeks before to see if theres been any weight fluctuations or what not so I will mention that to him when I see him next xxx
