Has anyone had a second BA?

Hey, I am totally wanting my boobs done again. They look a lot bigger on pictures than they do in person and I am not happy with the size. I am so happy to finally have boobs don’t get me wrong, but for the amount of money it cost it is a bit upsetting that they haven’t reached the look I want. Even though I’m measuring at a 30E it’s crazy, I look more like a C cup. I don’t look bigger than a c cup. I had 350 cc hp unders this is the maximum size I was offered. I was jus wondering if when you get them done again you are able to go bigger than the maximum size you was offered previously. Like your skin has stretched etc would that make a difference to getting a bigger size? And how long would you have to wait. Xxxxxx

Hi hun I have had a second opp I had 350HP with my First no surgeon will operate until u are 1yeat post opp especially if u wana go bigger aswell my second opp was nearly exactly a year after my first x

Have you had your 12 week appointment with your surgeon yet vick? Im so unhappy with mine too! I feel like a look a like a full b cup! I got my 6 week check with the nurse thursday, last time i told her how unhappy i was with them and she said if i still feel the same at 6 weeks she will email the surgeon. I went in asking for a larger natural looking bust but they are not as large as i was lead to believe. When i tried the implants in the bra they looked twice as big 🙁 i feel like im hiding them more now than i did before because now people look they expect me to have big boobs!! I feel so rubbish!! 🙁 xxxx

I had my first op and the max I could have was 440cc. My second ba was done after 10 years (I was happy with my results for most of that time). When I saw Mr Trainor prior to my second ba I was offered up to the max 800cc that MYA go up to.
I’m sorry that you feel disappointed with your results Hun, but it is still early days x

Thankyou for your reply girls, I am 10 weeks post op on Tuesday, the thing is I do like the shape etc and think they look great! I do not want to discredit mr Traynors work what so ever he gave me the maximum size I could have as I was practically like an ironing board before! However this is completely not the look I want, this is not big, they look too natural. I want big in your face boobs! The most disappointing bit of this is I’ve seen girls on this forum with similar (and smaller) stats to me – getting 400cc + and over !!!! When you would think their maximum size would be less than mine as they’re smaller in size and weight etc. I’ve seen girls look identical to me almost and offered much bigger. That’s the most frustrating part. Because I would have LOVED to have been offered those sizes. It just isn’t fair. When I’ve been with the nurse I’ve been in high spirits because I only went to my 1 and 2 weeks pre op appointment, you have no idea what they’re going to end up like. You are under the impression they’ll drop and fluff and get bigger which is the case yes but I’ve ended up not how I would like. I am very unhappy with them. I feel if I did raise this with the nurse it wouldn’t achieve anything as I was offeeed 350 at a max. Just really need them doing again. The minute I am 12 month post op they’re getting done again I am miserable xxxxxxx

Hi Vicki, I had my first BA done with MYA about 4.5years ago. I was lucky if I filled an A cup, and had 340 overs which has taken me to a C cup. However I always wished I went bigger ???? I’m booked in for a consultation in a weeks time, and I’m going to book in to get them done again. I think you always measure bigger than you look. But if your still not happy come your next appointment I would definitely say something. Good luck xx

That’s what I was like I had no chance of filling even an A cup so I accept I was small to begin with but I do believe I should have been offered bigger just like a lot of girls similar stats getting offered bigger. I am fully miserable with them. Don’t get me wrong I’m glad I finally have boobs but I feel these look too natural and not even big. These are the boobs I should have been naturally born with not the boobs that cost me 5 grand. They should be a hell of s lot bigger xxxxxx what size implant are you hoping to get xxxxxx

Aww Vicky i thought you were really happy with them, im not over the moon with mine yet but i know it’s not down to my surgeon he’s done a great job it’s down to what he was working with, ive gained in that there bigger but ive lost my clevage, mine look a million times better now when im naked but smaller no when im clothes because i can’t create a cleavage anymore, maybe you could go bigger in 12 months once the skin is stretched or change to overs and sacrafice the natural loook to get them bigger, im measuring a DD but mine look like a full C cup now in my opinion but i went in there with an empty b, also try to remember (and im trying to remember this myself as im telling you!) We are still at a very early stage and they might still have quite a bit of changing to do 🙂
I know mine have alot more softening to do so hoping of that happens i can make a clevage again, do yours still feel quite firm to touch or do they feel like natural breast tissue? xxx

I was the same was happy when I had my first opp but never really loved them i haven’t gone loads bigger now but I’m so in love with them now in only 7stone 11 so they are big for my frame their not everyone’s cup of tea lol but I’m happy so that’s all I care about just give it 12 months and see how u feel x

I think I have faked my happiness all along due to having boobs it was a great feeling like yes I finally have boobs I can wear plunge body suits and bikinis without worrying! That’s the only positive I have I can wear certain things without the fear of being insecure cause I’m so flat. But when I’m wearing normal clothes I don’t look like I have big boobs, when I have no bra on they’re just small. I am miserable and I have pretended to be happy I’m really not. I have sat and cried so many times. And I know we’re only early and they still have changing to do but I can’t see them changing much more than this or going bigger 🙁 I look like a C cup! The look i wanted to achieve is to look a full E. I know I had nothing to begin with but why wasn’t I offered bigger like other girls on here :(xxxxxxxxx

Hi @vickyleigh I’m currently 5 weeks post op and also disappointed with size. I’m quite disappointed and as I had overs I can’t see them changing much more by 12 weeks. I’ve asked to speak to my PC at my 6 week check up next week as I just want to know what the process is with MYA on having another operation. I’ve already paid a lot to have the first op and I don’t want to pay the same amount again 🙁
Like you I can’t fault Mr Traynors work, I just wish he had offered me a larger size xxx

Hiya @hayley08 it’s awful isn’t it. I didnt even go to my 6 week check up I haven’t had the time. I am guna mention it on my 12 week check cos I’m so down about it. They look so small 🙁 and I’m the same I do not want to pay that amount of money again I just wish I was offered a larger size to begin with and I wouldn’t be in this mess xx I’m guna see what I can do about a re op surely there should be some form of discount on a second procedure I just don’t know. I’m sorry your books aren’t as you hoped they’d turn out.
I’m getting 325cc unders in a few days, yikes! I said to Dr Traynor I wanted a D / DD and he seemed really surprised as I’m 34A now. He said he couldn’t make me bigger. But I’m wishing he had at least offered 350s. The strange thing is I tried 325 cc on and looked quite big on me. But then I’ve seen a few others on here getting 400 from similar size to me. Just hope I like the result after splurging a lot of savings! Hope you manage to get look you want in the end! 🙂

I felt exactly the same I wad offeted 350cc max and I dont look like ive had them done at all my padfed bras looked bigger. Mr Traynor said it was all to do with skin type frame etc and that there was nowhere for 450cc to go the breast pocket isnt big enough.

My friend of similar build had 350cc and measures an F now 18mths later she looks amazing but I dont fill a C atm Im hopibg they change over time and end up like hers.
Apparently 50cc is 1/4 cup size so barely noticeable ?

Dont get me wrong Im grateful for some boobs but Im hoping the drop n fluff kicks in sooner rather than later im a size 10 with a big back 36 poss even 38 so my boobs are just hidden in my shoulder frame.

Hi, just reading through this post as I’m debating revision. I’m nearly 6ft and had 375cc last September. Although I’m now measuring an E cup it doesn’t look like it especially under clothes. Does anyone know how much roughly revision surgery would be to go bigger?? X

Hey gemzy I saw a few girls on here say certain revision is free if something has gone wrong, you just pay for the implants. I don’t know how true this is. If they’re just not as big as we would like I think we’d have to pay full price again. Hopefully we should be offered a discount I don’t know. I will enquire this when I go for my 12 week appointment Xxxxxxx
And yes Jennifer that’s what he said to me he couldn’t offer me any bigger at an absolute maximum he could do 350. It really is frustrating how other surgeons have offered other patients with very similar stats much bigger sizes! I’m definately glad I had them done I don’t regret it just hate how I couldn’t go bigger! Good luck with your surgery you’ll be fine I just want big massive ones that’s all xxxxxx
And same here Natalie I’m grateful too but when you are after a certain look it’s sdisappointing when you don’t achieve it isn’t it. I don’t have any faith in dropping and fluffing doing much change to mine xxxxxxxx

@vickyleigh Hi hunni I’m booked in with Mr Traynor on the 15th the highest he’s offered me is 350cc HP unders. I’m the same I’ve seen girls smaller framed and less boobs to begin with getting bigger implants so it’s really frustrating! He hasn’t wrote Max next to my highest impant size so one of the pcs said it may not be final. I’m hoping he will allow me to go to 375/400cc. I’ve managed to squeeze in for a second consultation on the 12th so hoping he will agree to go slightly bigger. Did he write MAX next to your final size? Xxx

Hey rachael x yes he wrote MAX in big capital letters. 🙁 I wish I would have seen other surgeons and seen what they offered me, I am so unhappy with them ATM. I hate sounding ungrateful but it cost me so much money and it’s not what I wanted them to b like 🙁 and oh my goddddd Yes totally do that! Hopeful,y you’ll b able to go bigger! Sorry to hear so many of u seriously disappointed with your boobs atm. The best thing I would suggest u do is speak with ur surgeon and go through your notes to clarify why u were offered the max size.

I’m sure they will go into explain about ur breast pocket, skin and ur chest wall sizing. Surgeons spend years studying for their trade and it really is a science not one size fits all…” Everyone who is the same stats get the same cc….”

So although it may be annoying that you were not offered 100-200cc+ what you have there is obviously a major reason why and usually it comes down to bottoming out, thin skin that could show the implant outline, severe stretch marking or double bubble risk just to name a few!

Surgeons have to weigh up a lot of things to ensure you have the least chance of complications post op and many clearly state that certain sizes just aren’t possible first time round if you want to achieve a super big size for your natural frame….simply because your body is most likely unable to deal with with weight and pressure of the implants. Katie Price is living proof of this she had had over five surgeries on her boobs.

So instead of getting yourself worked up which isn’t going to solve anything…get some facts from ur surgeon that you weren’t obviously given pre op. The more knowledge you have the more control u have over ur emotions and reasoning to make decisions plus it’ll make u less anxious. Fxxx

Thanks for that fran! Very detailed and helpful. I do suppose you are right there is a reason they did do this. I will have to speak to Mr traynor regarding it because it gets me very upset. Do you know how a second op would go about? Like would I be able to go much bigger do you reckon? Or is 350 cc the maximum I would be able to get ever ? In an ideal world I would like 525 cc. I think this would definately achieve the look I’m after! I was just wondering if I would be able to get this with a second op, or am I literally never going to be able to go bigger than 350 cc? I suppose I need to speak to he surgeon regarding it but if you have an idea if you can go bigger on a second op that would be brillxxxxxxxx

Hey hun no problem at all. I had a mate who had the same problem she isn’t a Mya patient and opted to go Belgium for her second op cos it was a lot cheaper but from what I know she doesn’t get much in terms of aftercare. She advised me to get mine in Belgium but I was way too scared tbh and I wanted my surgeon to do it as I’d practically stalked her career online lol. In the first op my mate got 300 and something and the second she got in the 500’s. She had to wait over a year for the pocket to stretch out but tbh she still wears push up bras heavily padded ones becasue shes stil unhappy.

I met her on holiday in 2015 and didn’t even know until last year that she had a boob job because she’s always heavily padded up and still wants to be bigger. She had her first ba because she was like a AA after breast feeding her daughter but she was a teen mum and my mate is still under 30. I think they look pretty big without a bra on but she’s convinced they’re tiny.

So when u see ur surgeon have a good chat and even consider a different projection like UHP if it wasn’t offered u may be able to get it second time around. It gives a much higher frontal look.

I’m so sorry u have felt this way I can only imagine it’s really frustrating but whatever u do don’t put on a push up bra until a year post op becasue it can displace the implants from pushing them up.

Ur volume and size will get resolved ut won’t be like this forever just imagine the current implants are like Lil silicone shoe horns stretching ur pockets out to make room for the larger implants its all a journey hun really stressful anxious and expensive one at that!
But u have already started the process so it’s only a matter of time until u achieve ur ultimate look. Just think ur closer to it than u were pre op! It’ll be ok fxxx
