Hi everyone,
I had open rhinoplasty and alar base reduction with Dr. Andrea Giannitrapani last August and don’t feel 100% happy with my results.
He’s addressed a lot of the things I didn’t like, but the bridge is a little wonky and lumpy. There’s a small, round lump on the middle of my nose off to the right hand side that I never had before and it looks very noticeable. I agreed to wait the full year, but I’m really concerned I won’t be given corrective surgery to remove it and it’s making me feel really down. When I saw him he was happy with the results and brushed it off saying not to worry, but I’m starting to feel as self-conscious as I used to before the surgery.
He’s a wonderful surgeon and I would prefer to stay with him to fix it, especially given the cost. Has anyone had corrective surgery for a small imperfection before?
