HATING coming off my pill !!!

I’ve had to stop taking my pill (Yasmin) for my op on the 25th but it’s horrendous. My skin is breaking out I have constantly got a headache and I’m so emotional! 🙁 I might not be taking my pill but I’m taking painkillers every day. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any natural remedies I can take so I’m not taking loads of tablets? Xxx

Hi Hannah I my advised that I could continue taking the pill so I did I have for every op I’ve had and never have experienced any problems am 8 weeks post op from BA x

I had no idea it would affect me so much! I’ve been told not to take it now until my first period after my op x x x

It’s a change in hormones Hun, just try and keep your face extra clean and like you’ve said keep on top of your tablets you’ll find it’ll soon level itself out. Some pills you have to stop some you don’t, its to do with the thinking your blood! hope you feel a little better soon hun, xx

my ops in 9 days iv been told I can still take the pill,maybe call up and ask again x

There are some pills you can take and some you cant. If the drs recommended coming off it I’d do that hun 🙂 Just keep thinking of your new boobies 😀 xxxxxx

I’ve had to stop my pill too I’m on dianette. Used to be on that Yasmin and brought me out in spots so had to go on dianette then coz of it! It’s a nightmare having to stop it isn’t it but I guess it’s for our safety! My op is the 24th xx
