Having a tissue expander for tubular breasts – anyone with this treatment?

Hi everyone. One of the options I have is to have a tissue expander in my left breast as it is tubular. Has anyone had an expander before and what the treatment was like? What was recovery like? How long did it take for you to have the real implant inserted? If anyone has any experience with this I would be very grateful! I have my second appointment with the surgeon on Saturday and can’t really find much infof on the internet about this kind of procedure.
