Having a wobble – help!!

Hi girls. I am due to have my uplift and implants with Gary Traynor on Tuesday. Currently torn between 275cc and 300cc implants. I am so close but now I am panicking as I get closer that I will not achieve half the results all the other girls seem to and don’t know which size will give me the best chance! I feel like my skin is in an awful condition with stretch marks and it is horrible and wrinkly. And I also feel like they are bigger (empty 34d) and saggier than most people’s before photos. Feel like I am going to come out and they will still be so far down my body. Are these surgeons able to work their magic even if the before is really bad?! I will upload a before pic…just feel like myself and everyone who knows I am having it done are going to be underwhelmed ?. Feel like such a baby I’m sure it’s just pre op jitters xxx

Your boobs look like mine pre op! I was a 32D. I think size wise you should take our surgeons advice. I wanted to be a natural looking DD so he gave me 250cc and 225cc (one of my boobs was bigger). I get my strapping off tomorrow so I’ll try and get some pics for you. I’m sure it’ll go fine and you’ll love your end results. For me, anything is better than how they were before! Xx

Thanks Bonnie. It’s a massive deal really isn’t it and I am just trying to set my expectations beforehand because I feel like up until now I’ve seen so many fab changes and I’ve just imagined mine will be exactly the same. Don’t want to disappoint myself. If you could take some pics that would be great. Two totally different spectrums on here. Some girls like yourself going for the low to mid 200ccs and then some with similar boob pre-boob sizes going for 300cc+. I will leave it to surgeon but I feel like I’m loving the fuller boobs in pics but wearing backless tops and dresses etc was always my priority going forward. So hard. Small for convenience but larger to fill them out more ? Although I have only 25cc between the two sizes I am looking at so very little in it at all. Just panicking I think!! Xxx

Yeah 25cc isn’t much at all. On the day I would tell the surgeon how you’re feeling, ask him his opinion and maybe try the sizes on again. How tall are you by the way? I’m quite small 5ft1-2 so if I got bigger I would probably look too top heavy. I also want to be able to wear backless tops etc which is why i went for the smaller size. The surgeon will definately know best – they do it all the time! x

Ah see I am 5ft 7 and have always had quite big boobs. Though they are the smallest they’ve ever been now and totally empty. So I want to be in preportion. Think I would look silly with C cups but yeah there are sooo many nice clothes about where you need to have nice pert boobs to wear and I don’t want to prevent myself wearing them. Aww yay I’m so glad! Honestly everything will be fine and keep me updated! I’m over the moon with how they look. I was a bit worried that they would be a teeny bit too small but I’m so glad i listened to my surgeon and went with what he told me to. Good luck for tomorrow xx

Sorry just one more question haha ? Do they feel about the same size before just a much different shape/fuller or do they feel smaller or bigger? Also do they feel heavy? Xxx

They seem a lot bigger than before and are waaay fuller but I think im going to be a DD when they settle, I was such an empty C/D before. When I was getting them cleaned today they were full at the top and were upright despite the fact that I was lying down, literaly felt like I had 2 balloons on my chest haha which was a very welcome change. And with the strapping and bra on they didn’t feel heavy at all but when I stood up to look in the mirror they really felt heavy, literally like I had 2 melons stuck to my chest but the nurse told me that the macom takes the weight off for you and you gradually get used to them. They are defo a complete different shape though, I am so happy with them x

Eeeek I am so excited now the nerves have gone and I can’t wait till 8am tomorrow. I am buzzing for when I can lean forward and they don’t resemble two long skinny spaniels ears ? And instead will be nice full hard melons haha. Thanks for keeping us updated. I’ll let you know how I get on xxx

Well I am all done. Feeling very tired and emotional. Hoping i am worrying for nothing but feel like they are very low down on my chest still. Have spent ages comparing other people’s pics at this stage and others look so much higher and pronounced. I know I am very early on in recovery but feel like they will only drop more not get more pert so feel disheartened. Obviously better than they were but feel they are fuller but just as low. My nipple seems really low too. When I’ve seen everyone’s pics of post op in their Macom their boobs can be seen above the top. Mine look low and hidden like before ? Hoping I’m just tired. Feel like a little spoilt brat and very ungrateful but feel a bit upset at the moment. Went for 275cc. Xxx

I think they look amazing! Please don’t worry, you can’t see my boobs through my macom either. I don’t have cleavage or any bust over my macom yet but from what I’ve heard your boobs will fluff and move closer together and the cleavage will form over the next few months. xx

Aw thanks Bonnie. I am feeling a lot better this morning. Think I was just tired and emotional. I am happy with the improvement and hope they only get better in the next few weeks/months. I feel impatient already! I don’t have any pain at all really which makes me feel like maybe the skin isn’t pulled tight enough?? How are you feeling? Xxx

Hi terri, so glad your o went well. I’m on holiday but back tomorrow so I’ll post some more up to date pics of mine then. I felt my nipples were very low too but as the implant settles they now seem much higher. I’m 8 weeks po tomorrow too. From the front mine look good but from the side I feel mine look quite cone shaped still and wearing tops without a bra on holiday they looked really pointy. I’ve heard that most people’s take about 6 months to settle so don’t worry yourself at this stage. Xx

I’m glad you’re feeling much better. Most of the pain I had in the first few days was muscular. Are yours unders? I’m feeling better but since I’ve come off the painkillers it’s been much harder to sleep and I keep slipping down lower than 45 degrees which is so annoying! xx

Oh that’s good to hear Nikki. I hope that mine settle like yours then and change to a bit nicer appearance. Had my expectations a little high I think. I just really want to be able to on occasion not wear a bra. And right now I’m not sure that’s achievable. Would love to see some more up to date pics. Hope you’ve had a good holiday :). I had overs Bonnie. Already had quite a lot of breast tissue even though they were saggy and empty so had to do overs. Did you have unders? I haven’t had any coedine yet just trying to stick to paracetamol at the moment xxx

I had unders which is probably why the pain was a lot worse. How are you feeling about them today? xx

Wow they look absolutely amazing Nikki! Gosh I feel gutted there’s no chance mine will look like this as they are no where near as high as that now and they still have to drop! They look sooo good! Totally jealous right now! I have bleeding from one nipple at the moment it keeps stopping and starting. Rang the nurse she said to put another dressing on and monitor it tonight. Had to open my Macom to apply it and honestly felt so scared my boobs felt so heavy and I thought the implant was going to drop out the bottom haha. Everyone’s saying about them being under their chin but mine do not feel like that at all I’m gutted xxx

I think we’re all very self critical and are all on the same emotional roller coaster for a few months to come! I’m looking at your pics and thinking they look great! yet I’m looking st that pic I’ve just posted and the first thing I thought was that the fullness is disappearing from the top again.

I had the heavy feeling for a few weeks and it gradually disappeared. I don’t even feel mine anymore. On the plus side my boyfriend says they’ve softened an awful lot and are much more natural feeling than he was expecting!

I’ve still got a scabby bit on my right boob where the vertical scar meets the one round my nipple which weeps very slightly at times. Xx

Hi Claire. I didn’t go for the bigger size I went for the smallest implant which was 275cc. I am 5 days post op right now and I am gutted with my results so far. I’ll attach a couple of pics. I feel like they are very far down considering I am only 5 days post op and they will drop much more than this. My nipples are far down and they are awful from the side. I know I am judging very early on but comparing my results to most people’s pics I have seen from roughly one week po I think mine do not look how they should, and feel they will only get worse as they drop yet more. Maybe I am a bit hormonal and emotional and SO bloated but i am not happy at the moment and if I could go back I wouldn’t get it done. Pain wise I have none and I am guessing I am healing well as felt no pain when I removed my Macom. Xxx

I only took 1 pic of mine after surgery & they look very similar to yours (im day 5 po). Your boobs are higher as are mine but they will be in the correct position for your boobs ie we’re not all symmetrical (if that makes sense). I dont have 2 nipples immediately pointing up but I dont remember if mine ever did lol. I’m not paying any attention to mine for at least 6 weeks until they’ve really settled. I wanted natural fuller breasts and thats how I think they look. I think I should have gone a bit bigger but I was scared they’d look too big. Yours look lovely & really natural. Try & give it some time xxxxx. (Ive uploaded the only pic I have of mine so far, straight after surgery for you to see. Hope it helps).

Hi Lally. I am decided not to look at them at all again until my nurses op on Thursday. I’m worried I’ll cry if she asks me about them. Hopefully she will be able to give me an indication as to whether they will be expected to improve in terms of shape or if my nipples will remain in this position in relation to the rest of my breast. Your boobs look much tighter with the implants and your nipples are further up than mine. I think my issue is that I didn’t have that snug fit with the implant in the upper pole that all you other girls seem to have immediately after implants. Asif I had too much skin to fill that he obviously couldn’t remove at the top. Time will tell. Your boobs are going to be lush xxx

I agree Terry wait until Thurs and chat through your concerns with them. Did you see that diagram someone posted, not sure if on this thread or another? It showed the nipples rose up higher as the implant settled over time xxxx

I had to change my bra today as it was rotten and I was at work. I absolutely hate them at the moment and have huge regrets. I can’t explain they don’t just feel like the nipple is low they feel like they are dangling over. I’ve cried loads about them. I’ll try upload a couple of pics. It’s so disappointing 🙁 after paying so much and being so excited. I’ve not seen any posts from girls who’ve had uplifts who have felt like this within the first week. Xxx

Hi terri, I’m due to go on the 10/10/16 with Dr Mounir. Who was your surgeon? I think yours look great and they will look even better once the plasters are off.. Certainly better than before ? Xxx

Hi Charlotte. I had dr Traynor. They are getting better as time goes on. I am 2 weeks post op today actually. Yes they are far better than they were. I’ll attach some pics from 9 days post op now. I have another nurses post op on Thursday so will take a couple more then. I still expected them to sit higher than what they do and my nipple still seems to face downwards but the change I have seen in the first two weeks gives me hope that this will continue to change in the next few weeks. I have no pai at all now really and think I am healing pretty well. What size are you going for? Are you excited/nervous? I Am happy as I tried on my pre op bra before and I fit it (only my boobs looked a million times better shaped in it) so size wise I am really happy as did not want to be more than a D Xxx
