Hey girlies, I am 5 days post op, I know boobs heal differently as they are like 2 seperate operations, but one is fine and the other is high, double the size of the other, hard, numb to touch but is really sore without painkillers. Is anybody else the same?
Really worried as my friend just said this happened to her and she had capsular contracture.
I got natrelle unders, I got natrelle for the lower risk of capsular contracture and I also heard having unders reduces the risk too. My post op is on wednesday and I told myself I’d wait till then but Im getting more worries everyday 🙁
Hey hun try not to worry yourself 5 days is not a long time im 11 days post op and one of mine is still a little more swollon then the other everybody heals differently.
If you cant wait until your appointment ring your clinic up and see what they say im sure you will be all good hun xx
Hi Stacey, try not to worry, but I would suggest if one really is twice the size of the other that you should ring the nurse as it’s something to look out for, not to worry you at all but sometimes it can be bleeding or fluid around the implant and sometimes needs looking at, so to be on the safe side, i would give them a call 🙂 And it can’t be capsular contracture as you’re so soon post op and that only happens when the scar tissue forming after the implant, grows to much/ too tight, so at least you can put that out of your mind 🙂 Hope you feel better soon, give me a shout if you need to ask any questions! x
Thanks lovelies, wednesday isnt too far away, just in a slight panic incase something is wrong! If it gets worse il definately call the nurse 🙂 xxx
I think everyone always has a little panic i have and im still not sure mines right lol if it gets worse and you have constant pain where painkillers dont take it off deffo ring your nurse hun xx
My friend having capsular has definately made me more paranoid. Il wait it out till wednesday. The right one just feels completely separate to my body xx
Hope you’re ok hun but what Phillipa said is reassuring. Keep us updated xx
Had my post op…. Not good 🙁
Post op this morning, nurse took pictures, said nothing to worry about, but did have a reaction to the dressings and had a few blisters so changed to different dressings.
Had a call later in the afternoon, pictures had been sent to the surgeon and I need to go back on monday, surgeon thinks its possiblg haematoma and I am provisionally booked in at the hospital tuesday morning if it haemtomas confirmed then they’l need to operate.
Gutted 🙁 xx
Aww Stacey sorry to hear that! 🙁 Try not to get too down about it and take it easy, the surgeon will sort everything out for you and you will be absolutely fine! Its just another obstacle in your way, but your boobies will soon be fab and on the road to recovery! Hope you’re okay xxx
So sorry to hear that hun 🙁 at least it’s been picked up and now they can rectify it and make sure you get the boobs you want. Have my fingers crossed for you hun! Xxx
thanks ladies, fingers crossed its just precautionary and everything is fine xxx
Thanks 🙂 @pepperpot!! Xx
Went to see Mounir today, hes such a lovely man!! he totally put me at ease, hes not 100% sure its haematoma but Im back in at Preston tomorrow morning, hes going to open up my swollen one and see if everythings ok, and if not, go from there. eeek!! xx
Good luck, totally crossing my fingers for you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hope it isn’t that, but if it is, what a relief it was spotted early and you are all set to get it sorted. You will be fine honey, and your boobies will soon be good. Take care x
hey hun. how much more swollen was your boob my left one is more swollen to im bit worried i have no pain and its not hard.. got my 7 day post op check tomorrow with nurse hope all is ok
hey @XchaX have a lookmat my pics, its pretty much still the same, one is normal and the other is really high and abit rectangular shape. mine is really sore, quite firm and i cant lift my arm, and theres alot of black bruising – it was the bruising that made them call me back in as its normally a sign of haematoma. good luck tomorrow, Im sure you’l be fine, its normal for them to be different and heal at different times, i think its rare for these issues to happen, unfortunately Im just one of those rare ones! let me know how you get on xx
Ok huni I will have a look, thank you.. I think I should be ok but will know for sure tomorrow.. Wishing u all the luck with yours to sweetie let me know how u get on to xx

thanks lovelies, @sam I didnt have drains for my original op but I did for this one, so wierd. I jave no idea how they make that decision, but I definately prefer without. the drains made me feel so weak and were painful when taken out. @Rachel I got another week off work eek my boss is probably wondering what the hell is going on! lol. going to rest up and look forward to having a nice set of painfree boobies!! xx
