Im 10 days post op and the nurse told me to take the steri strips myself today, so have done but i just wondered if im supposed to do anything afterwards like clean them with anything? Also how long did everyone wait to shower?xx
Hi Sophie, I didn’t do anything, showered first, as the strips came off more easily and then patted dry 🙂 leave it 40 mins until you dry so that the scars aren’t as soft when your sports bra goes back on 🙂 xx

Hey hun ohh okay! Ive taken one off but im scared to take the other off as its really hurting, and im terrified to shower! I know theres a few things everyones been told differently about, suppose its just the nurses!xx
You can shower at 10 days post op but i was told not to wash near incisions and to let water trickle over my breasts and use sanex 0% fragrance free shower gel to prevent infection!! Cant clean them or put any products on till 6-8 weeks post op chick x
