Help?

Hey girls!
I am nearly 6 weeks post op, just in the last week i have noticed a bit of yellow/redy puss coming out of my insisions both sides! There isnt much just a bit when i dab them! I called my pc and she said a little bit of puss isnt uncommon and as long as it wasnt alot i would be ok waiting till my 6 week nurse check, but i was just wondering if any of you have had this? Did it go? Or do i have an infection?
I am currently on antibiotics for tonsilitus been taking them for about 4 days ( puss is still there after shower ) would this not help if it was an infection?
any advice would be great as i am worrying! xx

I had puss come out around nipple I got cold boiled water and cotton buds cleaned it and thats it I went to clinic 2 days later like and everything was fine =) x

I couldnt get booked in at 6 weeks as there booked up so i dont have my nurses appointment untill the 18th, should i wait untill then? xx

If its bad nah I wouldn’t wait like I would either ring them bk and ask to be seen or go see your gp xx

I wouldn’t wait I would ring the nurse and maybe send her photos to be safe x

Agree with daisy if it is infection it needs seeing to xxxx

i had this! for agessss after n it was yellow and tiny bits of blood, i just kept them clean and put my own dressings on them as i didnt want it rubbing on my bra (they say if blood can get out, infection can get in!) and it healed eventually x

Annoying isnt it! I went too see the nurse last thursday and she said it wasnt an infection so she just cleaned it and dressed one side! Since then its been better, so fingers crossed 🙂 x

Blimey, I’d expect to be healed by 6 weeks! The joys eh.
