Help!!!

Got my surgery booked for next week! Very nervous any advice anyone? Xx

Enjoy every moment! It’s such a huge, life changing process and it’ll fly by before you know it. Take loads of before photos from different angles and on different outfits so you have lots of comparison photos xxx

Thanks! Just so nervous I think it’s fear of the Unknown! How long did you wait after you’re check in time at the hospital untill you got you’re operation? Xxx

My admission time was 7:30, went straight to my room and the nurses, anaesthetics and surgeon had all been to s me within an hour. I was second on my surgeons list, went down to theatre just after 10am and was back in my room around 11:30am.
I was fine up until the morning of my op and then got really scared as it got closer. I was most worried about the general anaesthetic as I’d never had one before but I really needn’t have worried at all. The cannula didn’t hurt going in or out either.
Who/what are you having and when? Xx

Oh good that all sounds positive which is a plus for me lol! I’m hoping I’m not waiting for hours my nerves will make me ill haha! I’m in tomorrow morning at 08.00 at Preston having 400 cc partials xxx

Hi Kirsty, I was first on the list so literally crapped myself lol! Went into surgery at 10 and was back out 11.05! Was over the moon lol! Thanks for asking, how’s you? Xxx

Oh that’s good it was over and done with early on rather than having to wait ages!
I’m still in quite a bit of discomfort tbh, not really in pain anymore but so many twinges and aches coming from my right boob in particular! I have my 1 week check at 4 o’clock so hopefully that’ll put my mind at rest about everything being normal. So nervous about seeing my incisions! Xx

I know least it’s all over with! God I know my right boob it’s the worst its killing I can’t do anything with my right side and the bruising on my left side is terrible I’ve got bruises on the top of my boob right down to my ribs lol! Oh youl have to met me know how the incisions look my check up on Tuesday and I’m not sure what to expect. Xxx

My incisions weren’t too bad! I wasn’t sure if I wanted to see them but had a look anyway. They’re closed but still a bit scabby/oozy so I’ve had some smaller dressings reapplied for another week. I’m quite glad I’ve still got them covered tbh as I didn’t feel mentally ready to have them out in the open! Although I hope they’re healed enough this time around as I’m dying for a proper shower! Xx

Oh god I know what you mean she handed me a mirror and was like oh look at you’re incisions there fine I thought I was going to be physically sick! I’ve kept something over mine too I think they look horrendous lol! I had a proper shower yest and was over the moon lol! Xxx
