in my pre op yesterday i forgot to say i had been in hosptial within the last six months – after i got dumped and my first surgery cancelled in march (lol at my life) i got really drunk and i was a bit stupid – ended up in hospital. now i’m sooooo worried this will have an impact on my surgery thats booked for 10th may! my doctor has signed me off, all my tests are fine – what should i do girls?! i’m so scared 🙁
I’d personally say phone up and speak to your nurse and be honest and explain the whole thing. They’ll find out on your medical notes anyway, so just phone up. They’ll be able to reassure you or tell you what will happen xx
just call your nurse and explain babe, in the excitement and nervousness of having a pre op sometimes things can slip our minds and if you tell her now she won’t have any reason to worry about why you didn’t tell her if she found out later you know? if your nurse is like mine (who is as lovely as anything!) she will understand 🙂 don’t be worried! xxx
