HELP 3DPO

HELP –> been up all night being sick and i feel really horrible! the action motion of throwing up has made my chest feel even tighter!! has anyone else experienced sickness after surgery (even a few days later)?
Tried to call MYA but no answer!

Hiya Hun I’ve not experienced any sickness at all after my surgery but I’ve been told it pretty normal for it to carry on a few days later after the anaesthetic! Try going to the chemist if you can for sickness tables or if you can get hold of Mya it could be the antibiotics which I very much doubt it but worth checking, are you taking your tablets with food Hun? X

Also are you taking codeine? If so swap with ibuprofen & paracetamol as that can also make you sick & bloated x

i was taking cocodamol yeh. so gonna swap over to paracetamol!

Hope its not the antibiotics but they wont be working if I’m being sick anyway!
I’ve sent email to nurse so hopefully will get a call back.. Ive had some food but not really felt like eating as so bloated xxx

Hey chick, i was feeling sick constantly until last night! Today I feel okay, cut down to 1 ibuprofen and 2 paracetamol! I think it was the ibuprofen that was making me feel sick. I was sick about an hour and a half after coming out of surgery but at that time I still had morphine and anaesthetic in my system so I didn’t feel much but the day after I was so sore! I hope you start to feel better soon xxx

It’s normal Hun I was sick after surgery and fainted when I got up . Still feel a bit nauseated and v tired .. and still having pain .. I had my op monday evening . Just different bodies chick everyone reacts differently to meds n surgery , call your own gp they could prescribe you anti sickness medication Hun xx
