Help a friend out

Not long since I had my first consultation and my next step is to MEET MY SURGEON eeekk! Just want to be one step ahead girls and be prepared for what comes up. What happens in the surgeon consultation and what sort of questions does the surgeon ask you, do you go through apsolutely everything you want and need to know that day? Do you try on different implant sizes that day, EVERYTHING GYALLL. Share with me? Thanks in advance X

Hiya, you’ll basically be asked why you want to have the procedure done, talk about your medical history, and go through a few topics regarding the procedure.
After that you’ll be examined and measured, and then given a couple of choices regarding implant sizes, which you’ll get to try on. 🙂

Hey Chelsea! Aahhh how exiting! My PC emailed me back earlier today and asked if I could do Thursday to have my surgeon consultation. So I’ll be meeting him on Thursday! I’ve gone with MR Netri! Have you chosen which surgeon yet hun? I will most defiantly post every update possible! I’ll keep you updated on my journey gurrll! You let me know about yours too! Xxx

Omg that’s sooo soon!! I have to wait until 18th April for my consultation ???? I’m going with Mr Mounir I think! Although I can also go with Mr Traynor So I might have a consultation with him too! Good lass !! I’ll deffo keep you updated doll ! X

I know it’s so very soon! I’m so exited but so nervous. Like my boobs right now are so small! I’m gonna be so embarrassed honestly lmao. Tbh though 18th of April is not far away at all either! Eeeekk so exiting! Do you know your actual surgery date yet? I think mine is 11th May. I asked for mine ASAP bc I really want them done so that was the earliest and she gave Mr Traynor too. Mr Traynor and Mr Netri and since Mr Netri is the earliest day I went with him, plus with 2 weeks off that gives me plenty of time to have that off and get back to work in time for when the woman I work along side goes on holiday! How exiting! Defiantly keep me posted. Xxx

Same it makes me very sad hahaha I’m a tiny 32A !! No it’s only two weeks on Wednesday ! I wish it was sooner though! And no I don’t have a surgery date yet!! How come you have one? Omg jealous !!! I’m worried in case there’s a big wait time between my consultation and the surgery!! OMG 11th may is my birthday haha! Xxx I think you have to wait 8 weeks to fly so I need it done by 3rd July at the latest! X

@chelseaw I have my op on the 12th April with Mr Mounir he’s lovely I don’t think you will be disappointed. My pc is also Julie xx

Me too!! I think I’m like 30 A actually. I’ll send to a private message now with a before to show you and then when I get them done I can sure you an after. I probably got a date bc I asked! She gave me a few dates so I said 11th May! I will probably know more when I meet him so I’ll let you know. Omg happy birthday for 11th May! Mine was on March 4th!! Yes I think you have to have at least 30 days wait but I’m not positive. It’s in case you change your mind. But I’m convinced the waitwill be so worth it and every day flies by xxx

Chelsea you can book your surgery date before you meet your surgeon if you know who you are going with you just have to pay £1000 deposit. I booked mine today and I’m actually having them done on 20th April so I got in pretty quick x

Thanks so much hun! If you have to pay a deposit to secure a date which is right. I only roughly spoke to my PC about it but she did say once you have paid it that it means your date is secure but I haven’t paid anything yet. So mines probably not, but I wanna wait till I’ve met him and been through everything on Surgeon consultation day till I pay anything! Me too girl buzzing! Xxx

Hi Leah, it depends whether they’re running late or not.
When I had my surgeon consultation I was seen around half an hour late, and the consultation lasted around half an hour i think! ????
After that I saw my PC for another 10-15 minutes! ???? x

I’m in limbo at the moment ive been on this forum for 3 years now and I’m still no further forward ive got another child now and more unhappy than ever before just need some tipa/advise to get me past this scared/shy stage and bite the bullet to get my first appointment made. Any help would be very much appreciated. Xx

@laura i was the same shy and nervours about the first app, but just do it honestly the pc i seen laura was lovely and really makes you feel at ease, theres no pressure either for you to book the operation or anything, the pc answers any questions you might have, asks you a few questions about what you want/expect, then she tells you about the surgeons and which one she thinks would be best suited to you, you can see some of the implants and touch them, then if you decide you want to meet the surgeon the pc will book the app with you, you will also take home an envolope of imformation for you to read, xx

I had Mr Netri, he is absolutely lovely and so thorough with his explanation of everything… You probably won’t have any questions to ask!! You will feel really at ease once meeting him and he has done a brilliant job on my boobs. I had an uplift with implants, and I m amazed how neat my incisions are at just a couple of weeks! He also got the sizing spot on for what I wanted to achieve x

I had Mr Netri on 27 April. At the initial consultation I had no questions to ask because he covered absolutely everything. He’s a lovely surgeon to go with and trust him when he gives you size options, he knows what they’re going to look like once healed x

Are you going to go with him then Claire? I would definitely choose him if I had my choice again! Can’t praise him enough, he’s one of those people that puts you straight at ease. I suffer with anxiety and I was completely fine on the day of my surgery as i trusted what he said and the reviews about him! My uplift incisions are so neat and I had assymetry, and even though they are still healing they are so even! X

@Laura honestly if I can do it! You defiantly can, I get so nervous talking to people in case they ask me something I have no clue about lol lol but honestly it was dead easy and it takes 20 mins per consultation. Your PC is with you all the way too. Honestly you have nothing be afraid of I can gairntee you! I was messaging a girl saying “should I run out of the room and just go home now” haha bc I was so nervous lmao but it’s the most relaxing and easiest stages x
